How do you make veggie bacon?!

Question: How do you make veggie bacon!?
Answers:
It's pretty simple!. Just slice tofu very thinly then marinate in a mixture of veggie broth, soy sauce, liquid smoke, and olive oil for about an hour, flipping tofu slices after 30 minutes!.

Set the oven to about 400 deg F!. Place tofu slices on lightly greased baking sheet and place in the oven for 20 minutes!. Flip and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes or until the tofu is semi-burnt!. The key is to burn it a little bit!. That gives it a special flavor!.

All times and ingredients are really up to you!. I sort of just throw things together in the kitchen but it ends up working out!. For the marinade: Just taste as you go, adding whatever amounts you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This recipe is great! If you can find smoked tofu, use that!. It's crazy how much it smells like bacon frying, and tastes like it too!.

If you don't have maple syrup, use honey instead!.

EDIT: Why the heck would honey defeat the purpose of veggie bacon!? The question didn't specify anything about vegan!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
