Answers:
I have dated meat-eaters in the past!. I would LOVE to date a veg*n, but I live in Ohio and there aren't very many males who ascribe to that lifestyle!.
{If you aren't wearing a plaid shirt with a beer in one hand and a hunting rifle in the other, you may as well be wearing a skirt!. LOL!}
Since I have had to "settle" (kidding), I learn not to hold it against them!. I wouldn't want them to hold my veganism against me!.!.!.you know the "do unto others" rule!.
There were some days where the sight and smell of meat literally made me sick to my stomach!. They were fairly understanding that we just couldn't eat together some days!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

your right it depends on where you are, i've only met a few male veg*ns in my time!.

i'd date a meat eater who is OPEN MINDED!. i wouldn't date a meat eater who "needed" to have steak and potatoes for dinner!.

my boyfriend was practically a carnivore when i met him!. i never asked him not to eat meat, but i explained why i dont, always offered him to try what i was eating (like veggie burgers and the like) and over time he took an interest in it!.!.!. both for environmental, animal, and health reasons he has significantly cut his meat consumption!. when we go out to eat he might still order meat although it's usually chicken or seafood now (barely eats beef or pork at all now), and at home he'd rather just be able to eat a meal together then seperately cook meat and he feels better not eating it!. if i was dating a "steak and potatos" guy we probably would never have gotten to this point!. my ex while he respected my decision never really "got it" and this for other reasons, wouldn't of worked out long run!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would date a meat eater!.

It doesn't make them a nasty person just because they eat meat!. Although dating a vegetarian would make life so much easier for me!.

I went to McDonalds today- NOT to buy anything, but just sat there talking with some of my friends- they were eating meat, but we had a good time chatting!.

I have a lot of meat eating friends, and I love my friends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've been seeing a meat eater!. Doesn't bother me!. We go out to eat and he has his meal and I have mine!. We've definately had some discussions about the way each other chooses to eat!. he thinks my food is bland and boring!. I tell him his is disgusting rotting dead flesh!. Yummy!? I think not!. LOL He does make a point to brush his teeth and he has gotten a lot more aware of what he eats and tries to eat healthier!. Of course I occasionally cook and don't tell him I've made him a strictly vegan meal!. Muwahahahaa!. He's never been able to tell the difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My boyfriend wasn't vegetarian when I started dating him, and I didn't bug him about it!. After we were going out for a year, he decided on his own to become vegetarian, which I guess I prefer over him eating meat!. But, as long as he wasn't a jerk about it, diet wouldn't really influence who I dated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not only did I date a meat eater, I married one! Diet is only but a small part of a person's character and there is so much more in a person than just food choice!.
I cook for him and he cooks for me!. Everything works despite the difference in diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well, I married a meat eater, - thats a good thing, because a) his meat consumption has halved as I do not cook meat!. and the only animals in the house are the lives ones! lol!.

Plus our child will be vegetarian (chose when they are older)!.

Now if my hubby had married meat eater, he would have eaten more meat, - not good for his health!. His family has a lot of health issues!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO, NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE MEAT EATERS BUT IF MARRAGE EVER BECOME AN ISSUE I AM NOT GOING TO CREATE 2 SEPERATE MEALS ONE FOR YOU AND ANOTHER FOR ME!. PERSONALLY THE FLAVORS OF THE MEAT COMES THROUGH ON COOKING THINGS IF YOU ARE NOT USE TO THE FLAVOR!.
NOTHING PERSONAL BUT ONE SHOULD NOT DATE UNLESS THEY PLAN TO MARRY SOME DAY NOW OR IN THE LONG RANGE FUTURE!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am the only vegiterian in my family but a lot of my friends are vegiterians and a lot are not!. I dont keep anything against them if they like meat I respect that if they dont i respect that too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My husband eats meat sometimes!. Live and let live I always say!. I don't have time to worry about what everybody else is doing, so I just do what I can in my little corner of the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't do dates!. Breathmints contain animal-derived products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I tried dating a meat eater
it lead to constant conflict
unintended of course!.
its amazing how often you eat
three times a day, maybe more
to many chances for a fightWww@FoodAQ@Com

I do temporarily!. Because they usually go vegan after being with me for a little while!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there is not gelatin in all breathe mints!.!.!. it depends on the brand entirely!. you can check the ingredients to tell!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I married a non-vegetarian!. I went vegan only weeks before we got married!.

My husband eats vegetarian at home now!. (His decision, not mine!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I started dating this one person who ate all kinds of stuff!. I didn't care as long as the stuff wasn't poop!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think they would have to, iv only known a handful of vegans everWww@FoodAQ@Com

I live in Texas - - I have dated people that eat meat!. :)

Don't hold it against them!.
Don't care!.
Don't force anything on anyone!.

To limit a relationship based upon what another eats - is shallow in my opinion!. My list of priorities are honesty, being trustworthy, faithful - those sort of things!.

I learned long ago how to clean things - others have as well!. Even when I was still eating meat once in awhile when still with a vegetarian - we ate out of the same plates (but didn't use his cutting board - his one 'thing' that he was a stickler about)!.

But even now that I am dating and totally vegetarian - the thought of someone eating meat that is a possible date - - is just not as big a concern as points of character!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
