Answers:
Cheese is good for you - has calcium in it

so eat away!

though you may want to read the labels to see if they have any animal products in it!.!.!. O_oWww@FoodAQ@Com

Rennet is extracted by boiling cow stomachs!. If you don't want to eat cheese made with this, you'd have to find specially marked "vegetarian" cheeses, probably in a specialty natural food shop!.

There is a type of rennet that is made from vegetable sources, but it is more expensive, so mass-produced cheeses contain animal rennet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It is always good that you read the ingredient label before purchasing to ensure rennet is not used!.

In Singapore, we can get cheese from the vegetarian shop with the label 'Vegetarian'!.

No worries, found a site that might solve your query,

rennet is produced by cow stomachs, not obtained from it in some devious manner!. Relax!. Have some cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
