Mushrooms are a type of fungus, but the nonpoisonous ones are safe to eat!. Never eat any you see growing wild since only an expert can tell what one's are safe to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mushrooms are of two types !.one is edible, and the other is poisonous!.When you are buying from the market there is nothing to worry as they sell only the edible variety!., which should be washed thoroughly, and used immediately!.Usually they they mark the time limit within which it has to be consumed!. It is a healthy and nutritious food!. which is used in many receipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hmmm!.!.!., I have been eating mushroom since young, when i was a non-vegetarian, so far I still can breath in and breath out, no sign of decay!. Only decay was my baby tooth when I had too much candy as a little girl!.

So, no worries, very safe!. Don't believe me, lots of people in Asia consume mushroom for many thousands of years!. So, if it is not safe, the bell had been long pressed and we would not be able to buy any of them!.
