Question: Please could someone tell me !? What is the difference between a vegetarian and a Vegan!?
Answers:
There are a few different kinds of vegetarian diets!. The most common are listed below!.

Lacto-ovo vegetarianism
NO red meat, fish or poultry
Eats dairy and eggs

Ovo vegetarianism
NO red meat, fish, poultry OR dairy
Eats eggs

Lacto vegetarianism
NO red meat, fish, poultry OR eggs
Eats dairy

Veganism
NO red meat, fish, poultry OR dairy, eggs, honey or any other animal by product!. Veganism usually extends beyond just avoiding consuming animal products!. It is a philosophical and or ethical point of view which, aims to minimize animal suffering by eliminating the use of all animal products such as leather, fur, wool and silk and avoiding products tested on animals!.

There are also many other variations of these diets!. Like raw vegan, fruititarian, organic vegetarian/vegan!. But the ones listed above are the most common!.

Semi-vegetarians, Pescetarians, Pollotarians and Flexitarians are **NOT** vegetarians, they are are omnivores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

a vegetarian is someone who does not eat any kind of meat!. and a vegan is someone who doesnt eat anything that comes from any type of animal!. like milk!.!.!.it comes from a cow, therefor its off limits to vegans!. stuff like that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians dont eat meat (an actual dead animal) but still use/eat animal by products (milk, cheese,wear leather)

Vegans dont eat meat, or eat/use animal by products (no dairy, eggs, leather, products tested on or containing animal)Www@FoodAQ@Com

1!.) Vegitarian doesn't eat meat!.
Chicken, Beef, Pork etc!.


2!.) A vegan doesn't eat meat OR
use/wear any animal products!.

Vegetarians don't eat meat but they do eat eggs and dairy!. Vegans don't eat any animal products at all, even honey, and avoid using things such as leather!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
