The only colouring additive that is completely non-vegetarian-safe is the one you mentioned already -
E120 (cochineal or carmine or C!.I!. 75470)!.
(Similarly, the glazing agent E904 (shellac), is also insect-derived!.)

Possibly animal or vegetable derived:
E104 (quinoline yellow or C!.I!. 47005),
E153 (carbon black),
E160(a) (carotene or C!.I!. 75130),
E161(g) (xanthophyll or canthaxanthin or C!.I!. 40850)!.

Vegetable-derived colouring additives include:
