Oh, I am going to give the same answer whenever I was asked why you become vegetarian: Here it goes :-)
I have been a vegetarian since 1993, reason for less killing!. During this period of being a vegetarian, i had given birth to a 3!.6kg baby boy ( 12 yr old now, is a vegetarian too, he chosen to be one as well )!.
I am a Alpha Thalassemia Minor ( i!.e is a condition which affects the hemoglobin in blood, this is inherited and is often cause confusion with iron deficiency anemia)!. Many would think i should not be a vegetarian!. In fact, i have been a vegetarian for 15 yrs now, it does not affect me at all, i even donated blood 4 times and planning to donate more!.
Ok, feel tired, I didn't feel that when I first turn vegetarian or the initial few years!. I feel tired when I have to do night feeding for my boy when he was a baby!.
Do you exercise!? Are you overwork lately!? Or feel stress!? Or did you eat a wide ranges of fruits, veggie, tofu, mushrooms, beans !.!.!. You can always check up the nutrition that vegetarian need to ensure you are eating what is required!.
Plenty of good website provide that, just search!.

was veg for 1!.5 or 2 years before I became vegan!. I became vegan while studying the environmental impact of agri-business!. I realized how ecologically unsustainable a large scale omnivorous diet is to sustain globally!. Producing meat places massive stresses on the earth's resources and the environment!. I study environmental engineering and majoring in agricultural waste management!. That along with the obvious ethical concerns about animal treatment are the main reasons I decided to become vegan!. Some of my other reasons
1!. Cruelty to Animals
2!. Health
3!. World Hunger
4!. Worker Rights
5!. Government Negligence
6!. The environment
also reading some books by Peter Singer about ethics really changed my perspective!.
I don't think I became a greenie exactly, I think I've always had a deep sense of appreciation for nature!.
I do feel tired sometimes, but that's not due to being vegan it's just my hectic busy life!.
Peace )O(Www@FoodAQ@Com
