LOL!. I'm sorry but this is a funny question!. Well!.!.!. that depends!.!.!. what exactly do you eat!? I'm a vegetarian and very rarely fart!. If you are eating a whole lot of beans, then yeah you're gonna fart a bit!. Try to eat lots of different vegetarian foods (vegetarian falafles are a must- sooooo good) and your internal gases might not act up so much!. Eat a variety and you should be fine!\
If you are becoming a vegetarian also be aware that some cheeses contain rennet- which comes from the inside lining of a slaughtered calf's stomach- some cheeses don't contain this however!. Two that sre vegetarian are: Cabot block cheeses, The Laughing Cow little soft cheese wedges and TLC little babybels!. Just a heads up!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i haven't noticed this problem, but i have heard that for some people this does happen!.
as others have mentioned, it may just be your body adjusting to a drastic change in diet, increasing fiber, etc!. you may also consider an intolerance to something else in your diet!. for example, for many people lactose intolerance goes undetected for long periods of time because they eat only a small amount of dairy, which might increase as a vegetarian when you're trying harder to get needed protein!. vegetarians also eat more beans that meat eaters, and the added legumes in your diet can cause gas for some!.
you may want to consult your doctor or a nutritionist who can examine your dietary habits to decide if there is something in your diet that you are intolerant to or if your body is simply adjusting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When we shift into a new pattern of eating and we no longer are polluting our bodies with rotting flesh foods that stay in the colon for weeks -- yes, we can experience some passing of gas!. It takes a while for your body to eliminate the residue from all those years of eating flesh foods from the intestinal walls!. So here are a few suggestions that will help:
If you are eating a bean based meal enjoy some BEANO before you eat!.
Drink a minimum of half your body weight in ounces of fresh pure Reverse Osmosis Water!.
Be patient with yourself, you are undergoing a GI Track cleansing and it takes a bit of time for the body to adjust
At some point a high colonic enema may help with the situation because the gentle irrigation actually loosens and floats the impacted material out of the body!. Remember, it takes up to two weeks for flesh foods to clear the colon and some residue is left behind which impedes digestion!. also remember that most diseases begin in the colon!.
So good luck!. Be Patient and know you have made a decision that will genuinely help up you to better lifelong health!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Seriously, one of my best friends is a non-vegetarian, and he farts far more than I do!. Even worse, he doesn't try to muffle it or do it in private!. It can be a little off-putting when he does it while you're trying to eat!.
Experiment with your food to find out which foods make you fart more and which make it stink more, then try to avoid those foods!.
Excuse me - I just let one rip!. LOL
If you're really that worried about it, try charcoal or Mylanta (or similar product) or asafoetida or fennel seeds!. Don't let the farting put you off becoming vegetarian!. There will be a transition period while your digestive system gets used to the extra fibre, then the frequency will gradually slow down!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
