Question: Is anyone else as absolutely confused as to who is real and who is an impersonator and who is!.!.!.!.!? on this!?
forum!. I think I know the real Michael H when I see him (his answers are always informative and usually free of malice) but other T!.C!. and such are lost on me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Most genuine people do not feel the need to hide behind ever changing or fake names - just an observation

The account opening date is also a good indicator if they are a clone!.

There is a "trick" to getting a TC very quickly if people want to play the points game!. The trolls have obviously learnt that one!. Personally, I think points and TC are just a consequence of answering lots of questions!.

If some people feel that lying to themselves to be awarded "TC" is a worthwhile exercise there is probably not a lot we can do!.

I'd much rather be answering question about V&V in the FOOD AND DRINK context!.

The trolls come and go, trust your instinct and don't get dragged down to thier level!.

There is another "Michael H" but thats not a clone out of malice, we just happen to have the same screen ID!. I did have 3 clones at one time, and weathered that storm!. Because they are fakes, they don't have the conviction of wanting to genuinly contribute so they get bored quicker than a genuine personWww@FoodAQ@Com

It's easy to tell the TCs but the others you may need to look at their profile "born on date" if you can't tell from the postings!.

Worst thing you can do is talk about the trolls!. Don't even give them any "airtime"!. Ignore their e-mails and ignore them!.

Personally, I don't find it confusing cause I check the profiles all the time anyways!.

EDIT: also with the e-mails!. Don't even read them!. See who it's from and just delete it!. That's what I'm doing from now on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I usually ignore the people who don't have an avatar or a photo!. How long does it take to do that!? I just assume they are trolls!. I know that's not true in every case but it is what I think!.

EDIT: You can also tell based on grammar and the quality of the answers!. When someone only says one thing, but they repeat it on every post they make!. (i!.e!. BBQ and his "spoiled White Girl" "racist" rants)Www@FoodAQ@Com

We are all a bit of an impersonator and without this desire and ability life would be a lot less interesting!. So examine your impersonating friends to learn how good they are at it, and (as an impersonating private psychologist) try to find out why they need to be so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol!. i can tell you!.!.!.!.!.the impersonators are the ones that have no life!. how sad these lives must be that they have to spend their entire day making fun of other people and talking in language that would get you thrown out of even the trashiest bar!. sad, indeed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You just have to ignore the poeple that seem fake, ya know don't answer there questions and don't do best answers on them!.!! It all depends on who is your contacts are and if you talk to them at all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes- it's hard, particularly on a day like today!. I think someone got bored on the hunting forum and started rattling cages again!.

They will go away though, you know they always do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm confused
Just who or what are they impersonating!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, not really!. Trolls make themselves pretty obvious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

And some people are just plain a'holes when they wanna be!.

Too bad wujoo2 won't be around to defend himself!.!.!.AHAHAHAHAWww@FoodAQ@Com

Are you asking us a question about Food & Drink!?!.!.!.!. or just rambling on!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah, it's pretty annoying!. I don't understand why people get a kick out of it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah you're probably right about not mentioning them!.!.!.!.!.there's a big difference in meat eaters who want to share their opinions (myself included) and those who just want to incite anger and/or pose as "crazy" vegans!.

I don't think there are many who are posing as "crazy" vegans, there are many posing as rude and immature people who are attacking questions and responding with mean, ridiculous, and childish remarks!. So many questions in this forum are people looking for help from vegetarians and vegans or other people who are knowledgeable about the subject, but every time I look up a question there are several Yahoo Users attacking the lifestyle of vegetarians and vegans and mentioning things unnecessary things such as their support of animal abuse, etc!. Although, currently I do see a user on here who is pretending to be a crazy vegan!. Keep in mind, just because someone is a vegan does not mean they are crazy!. I'm not saying that you think otherwise, I know some vegans try to force the issue on meat eaters, but many carnivores force the issue on vegans!. I don't force the issue, I just highly encourage it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
