Why are vegan children shorter than omnivore children?!
I was doing some research on raising vegan kids, and I've seen this mentioned most of the time!. They also say that vegan children have more vitamins!. But why would they be shorter!. Is it because they 're probably ingesting less hormones, than meat eaters!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If this is true, and I certainly do not know it to be I would imagine that it is the protein thing!. BUT it is NOT because vegans are getting too little, it is that many omnivores eat FAR TOO MUCH!.
All I know is that my first child is short for his age (vegan for the first 2 years of his life, vegetarian thereafter) but is the fittest child in his class and is very healthy!. Height should not be assumed to be the sign of superiority it so often is thought of as!.
When I go to the Living Without Cruelty exhibition in London every December I do not see ANY obese children! I assume that the children are veggies and vegans and they are slim and healthy looking - they also seem to be 'nicer' than the average kid!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It would be helpful if you'd post a link, considering that all my sources have said vegan children achieve the same average height as omnivore children!. Provided that a child is not severely malnourished, height is based on genetics!.

Well, if it -was- true that vegan children are shorter, it's probably because they're not all hopped up on a million hormones!.
That said, despite being a vegan since early childhood, I'm just about as tall as all the other (meat eating) women in my family!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure that's true!. My nephew was raised as a vegan and, at 36, is a strapping 6' 3" guy!. But, if that's true, it may be because of a lack of protein!. Vegans have to be more conscious of proteins than meat-eaters!. However, there are plenty of protein sources available in the vegan diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Veg or non veg has nothing to do with the height, unless it is fulfill with all nutrientsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well, You see!.!.!. It's all part of Gods plan to eradicate vegans!. They will get progressively smaller each generation until they are no more, and then cows and pigs can then once again live in fear of being eaten by bigger, stronger, hormone fed children of the modern age!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Its because they are not eating a balanced diet, the diet our bodies are meant to eat!. Human beings are omnivores!. Just because one chooses to not eat meat, it does not mean that they have physically evolved to another species, becoming a herbivore like a horse or sheep!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
they dont get the same nutrients!.!.less benefits for them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
