If I go to a meat eater's house, I expect there to be meat!. The same courtesy should be extended to us!.
Just serve excellent food without meat- the sort of things meat eaters still order in restaurants, like a casserole of eggplant parmesan, spinach lasagna, green enchilladas, veggie moussaka or ratatouille!. Add an assortment of cheeses, rolls and crackers, strawberries & chocolate, and you're done!
Happy Birthday!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi!
I throw "girls night in" parties often, and I serve all vegan food!.
Omnivores eat fruits and vegetables, too, right!? I do not see any need to betray my ethics just to serve friends animal-derived foods they are accustomed to for one evening!. (I mean, I'm Christian!.!.!. I wouldn't turn the crucifix on my wall upside-down to appease my hard atheist friends!. If a person can't deal with my lifestyle for one evening, then they can stay home!.)
It's not difficult to create appetizing foods for non-veg*ns - just choose a menu of items that are familiar!.
I'll often make bruschetta (sans cheese), hummus, a vegetable cruditee, a fruit platter, stuffed mushrooms, fried zucchini, some yummy vegan desserts like cupcakes, pound cake, and brownies or blondies!. It always earns accolades among my friends!
I even make an amazing warm spinach & artichoke dip with nutritional yeast and silken tofu - my friends can't believe it's vegan!
I was actually thanked profusely at my last party for the vegan fare I offered - one friend of mine is severely allergic to milk and was so pleased to know she could enjoy everything I offered, and another friend of mine is breastfeeding an infant who is allergic to milk and eggs and was also thrilled that she could enjoy everything without worrying that she would pass dairy and egg antigens to her baby through her breastmilk!.
Have a great party!Www@FoodAQ@Com

First of all Happy Birthday I hope and pray you the Best!.
Second, watch your body!. Being a veggie is a good thing but also can be a bad thing health-wise!.
You can be a healthy vegetarian but let your doctor and GYN know so they can see if you are having any deficiencies!.
Removing meat from your diet can bring health problems such as infections, colds, etc!. this can be due to toxins in Pork meat!.
If eating meat one should eat true kosher meat etc!. The best kosher is from the Orthodox Union (O)
Look for the symbol of O in a circle like the copyright symbol C in the circle!.
Now let us get to your answer!.
There is some processed veggie non-meat foods (Veggie Burgers etc!.) I would not make a full diet of them for fresh veggies are better than processed veggies!.
I would serve them even “grill” them if possible!.
You if are a Lveg you can serve eggs or omelets with meatless meat, onions, green pepper, cheese, etc!.
Serve them what you like so if there is any left you can use as leftovers!.
Make it fun day for your quest but most of all have fun after all it’s Your Birthday
I would not serve meat, like the other “Answerer” ”if they cannot eat your food they should stay home”
This would allow them to eat healthier!.
For a guest take home you can web search for free to use (not copyrighted) recopies or cookbooks print-out them and bind up like a booklet for them to take home to read at their leisure!.
In the veggie lifestyle look for fresh and lean toward organic!.
You can grow your own food in your house/apartment (email me for info)!.
Please remember not to be snotty, as I know you will not!. Many people make their livelihood because of meat and love meat!.

All kinds of delicious vegan dips and snacks- google or check for cook books!. Fresh fruit, veggie trays, nuts and seeds, some crusty ethnic bread with vegan margarine ( check the labels, some commercial brands are 99!.9% vegan), Tofutti sour cream with onion soup mix for chip dip, If you have a little money, order some veggie take-out from the local Chinese place!. Spaghetti is wonderful meatless with the phony "crumbles" added for texture!. Use a fancy pasta!. Since you are not vegan, deviled eggs are a treat!. Baked beans (homemade, with real maple syrup) are a treat!.
Best advice: think of an item you'd like, then google it with "vegetarian" in front of it!. The hardest part of cookbooks is picking the one that works for you- there are so many!Www@FoodAQ@Com
