You've got a desire to reduce animal cruelty in the world - how great are you!?!

The simplest way is to stop eating animals and their secretions!.

Other ways you can make an impact:
* Reduce your intake of animal foods!.
* Adopt animals from a rescue shelter rather than buying form pet-stores or breeders!.
* Abstain from buying/using leather/wool/suede/fur!. Or, buy these items second-hand from a thrift store!.
* Choose organic, locally produced free-range animal foods!.
* Make charitable donations to WWF or your local animal shelter!.

Best of luck, and hats-off to you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could eat less meat!. If everyone just cut their meat consumption in half, billions of animals would be spared from suffering!.

About 99 out of 100 animals killed in the U!.S!. are "food" animals, so reducing your meat consumption is the best thing you can do to help animals!. Other ways to help:

-Buy products from companies that don't test on animals, and boycott cruel companies!.
-Write to clothing stores and ask that they stop selling fur
-Buy humane alternatives to fur, leather, wool, and down feathers!.
-Spay and neuter your pets, and promote spaying & neutering in your community!.
-Boycott animal circuses, rodeos, and other forms of entertainment that involve animal suffering!.
-Volunteer at your local animal shelterWww@FoodAQ@Com

well, you could join a local animal rights group!.
one thing that i like to encourage people to do is write letters to your local government leaders about increasing penalties for people charged with animal cruelty!. it doesn't take long and it only costs what you'd pay for a stamp!.
you could volunteer for a shelter group or do a funds/supplies drive for one of these groups!.
i'm a member of a group that protests local pet shops who buy their dogs from puppy mills, so you don't have to think that being veg is the only way to help animals!. there are plenty of ways to get involved, just look around and see what groups are in your area or what organizations could use a hand!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just try and raise awareness with those around you!.
If you bring dishes to family holidays, make a vegetarian or vegan version and educate folks about what they're eating (if they ask)!.
Have an environmentally-friendly themed potluck or cookout!. Eat with recycled goods, recycle the bottle and cans and ask people to bring cruelty-free foods just for something different!.
Cut your meat intake down to just a few times per week!.
I like others' suggestions about donating to causes that assist animals!. Even though you don't ascribe to the lifestyle, buying Tshirts that say "powered by tofu" or canvas bags with other clever veggie sayings is a good thing - a lot of times, part of the money is donated to a worthy cause!.
Good question!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could always go vegan, thats the most important first step!.

After that you can speak out, protest, volunteer at a shelter, anything to really help the cause!.

EDIT: Whoops I didn't realize that Murdock (I love to waste gas) asked this question!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't have to be vegan to be a conscious consumer!. Be aware of the products you purchase and where they come from!. Try to buy free range and fare trade products where ever possible!. Avoid non essential "luxury items" like silks and leather, since there are plenty of quality synthetic materials!.

You can also volunteer some time at animal shelters or adopt unwanted pets!. Make sure to desex your pets, and care for you pets so they stay healthy and happy!.

Just make yourself aware of the slaughter industry!. If you still want to eat meat, have one vegetarian day a week!. That would be a huge contribution! also, when you do buy meat, buy free-range!. Same with eggs and organic milk!. They cost a little more, but it's so worth it!. You're getting healthier eggs and milk and doing something good for the planet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i am a meat eater!.!.!.!.and my sisters are a vegan and vegetarian!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and they have always tried to get me to stop!.!.!.but i just cant!.!.!.donate money to no profit organaztions for animals!.!.!.!.rescue stray animals!.!.report animal abuse!.!.!.!.theres so many things you can do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy organic free range meat, eggs and dairy!. also look for the Kosher label on the meat you buy!. This meens that the animal wasn't abused and that it was slaughtered in the most human way possible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could start by being genuine, stop eating meat, contribute a months wages to an animal rescue centre and least of all stop sending emails to people saying you hope they die!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Stop eating meat!. - well you asked and I answered!. Being a vegetarian is not hard at all!. And its better to live your life with good ethics!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Best way is to transition from meat, no more slaughter and death makes for happier animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hunt for your meat instead of buying it at the store!.!.!.!.!.!.much more humane!.!.!.!.!.!.and I know that the thumbs down will be plentiful !.!.!.!.!.!.ask a meat question in V&V and anytime a omni answers it's automatic thumbs down!.!.!.!.!.!.!.shows how much veggies don't respect a point of view!.!.!.!.!.!.I respect your choice now show me some respect for giving a logical answerWww@FoodAQ@Com
