Vegetarians/Vegans is your mate also a Vegetarian/Vegan?!

i am a vegan and my boyfriend is a vegan!. it wasn't always like this!.!.!.i became a vegetarian the first year we were dating, he followed suit a few months later!. a couple of years later he became vegan and then i became vegan!. like you, it never was a pressure thing: i think we just helped open each other's eyes to the ethical dilemmas associated with eating meat!.
but, i didn't really answer this question because i felt like divulging personal info- i wanted to tell you that i am also a lover of the bbq, but i am quite satisfied with Gardenburger barbeque riblets!. they are really, really good and my meat-eating family loves them!. we barbeque those (wrapped in foil though) and gardenburgers, grilled vegetables, and vegan hot dogs!. you don't really have to give up barbeque, they even have tvp (textured vegetable protein) fake meats (both chicken and beef) that you can skewer and make kabobs!. there are so many tasty and healthy options out there for vegetarians/vegans you really don't have to give up the bbq!Www@FoodAQ@Com

When I started going out with my boyfriend, he ate meat and I didn't bug him about it!. After about a year, he decided on his own to stop eating meat!. He says it had nothing to do with me, but I'm sure my diet made him think about his own!. But he doesn't call himself a vegetarian, because he'll eat meat if it's going to be wasted if he doesn't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I am vegan and my girlfriend is mostly vegan but eats vegetarian a smaller portion of the time!. I can tell you this is one of the bonuses to our relationship!.
