Why do some (stupid) people hate vegans?!
It's like they think there's something wrong with being vegan! Why!? They act like non-vegans are discriminated against even though there are way more of them!. I just don't get it!. First of all a person cannot have better morals because they don't eat meat!. That is such a stupid remark!. Second I watch the news everyday read the paper everyday , talk to people everyday!. I have never heard of hatred of even mild dislike for vegetarians!. It sounds like you hate non-vegans!. I don't hate anyone!. The key is not to be judgmental!. People make dietary decisions based on a lot of different reasons and it is a personal choice!. It's no one's business what anyone else chooses to eat or not to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a start, how do all those people know you are vegan !?!? I see plenty of people eating ameal with no meat in it, i dont' assume they are vegan!.!.!.so what makes them know you are vegan !?
If its people known to you that are doing this, as opposed to random individuals in the street, then you cannot dismiss it as them "hating vegans"!. Maybe they just don't like you and use veganism as a vehicle to tell you !?

I've been vegan for over 12 years (vegetarian for years before that) and I've never met anyone who hates vegans!.
Not in real life anyway!. There have been some mad trolls on this board who post hateful things about vegans, but the trolls currently posting have demonstrated themselves to be without boundaries, decency or shame!. They very probably troll and post hate on other sections such as Gay and Lesbian, Immigration, the various boards for specific diseases and conditions, all anonymously and from behind the safety of their computer screens!.
But in real life people don't hate vegans and most of the meat eaters who post here are decent people!. Most people never even give vegans a thought!.

A former co-worker of mine was a devout Vegan!. Want to know how I know this!? It's because he wouldn't shut up about it!
I don't have a problem with YOU being a vegan, but I DO have a problem with the holier-than-thou attitude that comes with it!. You're not a better person because of what you eat!. You don't need to preach the virtues of Veganism to me, because I already have my own dietary belief system!. You don't need to look at me in disgust when I bite into my Big Mac!.
In short, people don't have problems with Vegans because of what they eat!. People have problems with them because of how they act!.
Now, I understand the psychology!. People who quit smoking tend to get preachy about smoking!. Recovering alcoholics tend to get preachy about drinking!. So it makes sense that people who quit eating meat will get preachy about their bowl of soy and wheat grass, but you are hurting your cause and sending your popularity into the tubes when you do that!. It turns out that nobody likes being preached at or made to feel inferior!.

I am on a special diet because of my diabetes, but very few of my friends know it!. This is because I don't bother to announce my dietary choices to the world and I don't feel the need to try convincing them that they should cut out the sugar and carbs from their life!.

why do some (stupid) vegans generalize non vegans and assume we all hate people for what they do or don't eat!.
