Protein is not an issue for veg*ns!. It's in almost everything and most people get far more than they need!.

Veg*n sources of protein include soybeans and soy foods (tofu, tempeh, edamame, meat analogs like "veggie burgers,") beans and other legumes (lentils, peas, peanuts, chickpeas,) whole grains, nuts, seeds, vegetables (especially dark greek ones,) mushrooms and some fruits!. Vegetarians also get protein from eggs and dairy foods!.

Anybody who is eating enough calories to meet their energy needs and is not trying to live solely on junk food, is almost certainly getting enough protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mock meats usually have a good amount of protein (veggie burgers, tofurky, etc)!. also tofu, soy milk, nuts, beans, and cheese are good sources of protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I eat mostly beans!.!.!.they're tasty, cheap, and versatile!. Tofu occasionally, seitan occasionally!. You also get a fair amount of protein from things like whole wheat pasta and bread!. Oh, and soymilk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Me and my moms are vegetarians, so my mom is really into me getting enough protein!.
