Are vegetarians/vegans susceptible to the same health-related diseases as omnivores?!

Changing the diet has very little effect on a person's cholesterol, as the majority of cholesterol is manufactured in the body, whether any is consumed or not!.

Firstly, it all depends on how long they have been vegetarian, or vegan!. If there was a stage in their life when they ate meat, then that is going to be a set back on their health!.
But in saying that, going completely off meat and animal products, and eating a majority of raw foods, that will undo a lot of the damage that the meat had done to their body!.
And those people who have been vegan all of their lives, then they will most certainly have a longer life expectancy than those who eat meat and animal products!.
I have heard that it is at least 7yrs, and I would say, could be a great deal more, as we should all be eating the diet that God created for us from the start!.
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat!." (for food)

I think vegetarians/vegans are less susceptible to illnesses!. A persons diet has a lot of input on one's health!. Ever since I became vegetarian I have not gotten a cold and this is coming from a person that would take months to get over a cold!. I think when a person has a healthy nutritious diet their immune system is much more equipped to fight off viruses and illnesses!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
yes but not as much!. Vegetarian are likely to live 7 years longer and vegans 16 years longer!. Less sat fat in diet because there is not red meat which is high in sat fat!. This means lower chol!. and less risk of heart desiese!. Healthier digestion, less likely to get certian cancers, thinner, and so much more!Www@FoodAQ@Com
