For example, the Kentucky Derby today!. The horse that came 2nd crossed the finish line, fell and broke it's ankles!. It had to be euthanized!.

What puzzles me is why a horse with broken ankles needs to be euthanized!?!?!? Do we euthanize people with broken limbs!? Hell, we don't even euthanize people in agonizing pain!. A broken ankle!? WTF!? Why can't they just treat the horse with a splint!? So what if it can't run again!. A runner who breaks an ankle may not be able to run again, but we wouldn't euthanize him! No!. Horses injure themselves just running in fields too!. Those horses are euthanized too!. It's just not news!.

Using animals for sport is unethical, if you ask me!. Animals shouldn't be used for our entertainment period!. Sure, we can observe them in their natural environments where they are free to live their lives, but to take them, imprison them and force them to do things just for our entertainment is unnecessary and cruel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
