What is the best vegan deodorant for women?!

Question: What is the best vegan deodorant for women!?
I've been trying to switch to a vegan brand of deodorant for awhile now, but I'm stuck!. My store carries a few brands that are completely vegan but I haven't found any of them to be particularly effective!.

Newman's Own Lemongrass scent made me break out in a rash!.

Next I tried herbal clear's lavender scent!. It worked ok for most of the day, but didn't last into the evening!.

Next I tried Jason's Naturally Fresh which smells gross (kind of like clay) and didn't last any longer than the second one!.

Anyone have any recommendations for a vegan deodorant!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
the problem with natural deodorants is that they aren't usually antiperspirants, so you still sweat- and if you sweat a bit, you will smell!. the crystal is by far the best because it keeps you from sweating, but then you have no lubrication under your pits so it can hurt a bit!. i recommend the crystal first and then a quick glide of something you like the smell of, like tom's of maine or the like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use the Thai Crystal, and it works on all but the hottest of days!. Just wet the crystal and rub on your pits in the morning!. The nice thing is the crystal lasts for a year, which saves you quite a bit of money!. You can order one from Pangea (www!.veganstore!.com) or your local natural foods store might carry them!.

Lush (www!.lush!.com) also makes some good solid deodorants (I liked the Aromarant) that will keep you nice and fresh!. I think all but one of their varieties are vegan!. I think they now have deodorant powders, but I haven't tried them yet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can try those natural mineral rock things!.!.!.I don't know any specific brands, and I can't say if they're effective, but I'm sure they're vegan!.

Use baking soda!. Rub some into your armpits in the morning!. Carry around a little vial of it so you can do it again if you feel the need!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
