Hi, gorgeous!

Asian dressing is the best for me, tangy, with spices and herbs!. It's readily available where I am (Asia), but I'm not sure if you can find it as conveniently there!. You could try the specialty food shops, but as I understand it, ethnic cuisine has gone mainstream in the USA, and it might actually be easily sourced!.

Have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use 2 parts balsamic vinegar to one part olive oil usually!. The vinegar has good flavor and allows you to still taste the veges too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use salsa! I never liked dressing, but I love putting salsa on my salads!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, a general rule of thumb to make salad dressing is usually three parts oil/fat to one part vinegar/acid/citrus!. But that does mean a ton of grease and calories, especially if you overload on it!. However, that's typically the approach most companies have!.!.!. and then they try to sneak in unhealthy stuff like artificial sweeteners or filler like corn syrup if they try to cut the fat content!. Usually store-bought "light" or "fat free" ones have anything from corn syrup to aspartame in them, so I like making my own!.

There's only a few store-bought stand outs!.

I like Newman's Own Lighten Up varieties, they're usually about half the calories of full fat versions but are still tasty, in particular the Italian:

And the Newman's Sesame Ginger:

(This one is fantastic to marinate tofu too!)

I make my own raspberry vinaigrette now, but this is a low calorie raspberry vinaigrette that's really tasty, if you eat honey:

The one I make for myself is made with stevia, raspberry (or other very light, fruity vinegar), a splash of apple juice and frozen, unsweetened raspberries!.

You can try messing with the oil to vinegar ratio yourself in recipes, it's how I found a way to make the fat-free raspberry one!.

There's tons of recipes online if you look, I found a good thousand island vegan dressing by typing "low fat vegan thousand island dressing" into a search engine!.!.!. I tried to find it again for you but it seems to be evading me right now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
