Question: Name of tofu that has brown color-covering skin on it-- It tastes sweet!? Is it tempura!?
Sounds odd, I know but I want to say it's called tempura or something like that!? Served cold or hot, right!? I honestly forget but I remember it to be sweet-tasting!. Can you make this and if so, any recipes!? Will give 10 for best!.!.!. I really appreciate it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the only time i had tofu that was sweet tasting is when i went to a Thai restaurant!. it tasted like i was almost biting into french toaste, it was that crispy and sweet!.!.!.!.another one is at my fav!. chinese restaurant and it's called hunan bean curd(fried tofu) in a spicy sweet sauce!. here are a couple of websites to go to see if anything jogs your memory

There are many different kinds!. Gobo Ten (tempura), Satsuma-age (pronouced ah-ge), Age Balls, etc!.!.

Some are plain or with vegetables (carrots, peas, burdock root, etc!.) and some have squid!.

These are very difficult and time consuming to make!. I would suggest that you purchase the already made ones at a store or you can buy them online at http://www!.japansuper!.com!. Look under the category Fish Products!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
