OMG!.!.!.this happened to me once!. I ordered a veggie burger and confirmed with the waitress that it was, in fact vegetarian and she assured me that it was!. I ate almost half and was convinced that it couldn't be vegetarian so I asked the manager who told me that it had beef in it!.!.!.I ran to the bathroom, threw up and left without paying!. I haven't been back since and I've told everyone I know not to go to the restaurant because you'll never really know what you're eating (Ruby Tuesday's!.!.!.don't go there)!. Oh, I feel sick for you!. If it makes you feel better, complain, but it'd probably just be best to learn from your mistakes, I know I have! Sorry!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My daughter, 22 and a life long veggie went to Weatherspoons with me and ordered a veggie-burger!. She took one bite, swallowed a bit and spat out the rest!. It was a meat burger!. I asked to see the manager and complained very strongly!. A young man behind the counter laughed, so I wiped the floor with him!! I think sometimes people in the kitchens think it is funny to substitute meat for veggie food when it is not too easy to tell the difference!. It is not funny, people who have never eaten meat do not have the appropriate bacteria in their system to combat the poisonous effect of meat!. My daughter was sick all the next day!.

It is essential that you go back to McDonalds and complain - to the manager - not the person serving behind the counter!. Alternatively write to their head office!. You should be alright!. You system will probably cope with it, but as previous people have said, don't go to McDonalds!. Their supplies of meat do not come from humane sources - so why patronize them!.

Don't feel terrible!. It was not your fault!. Your moral stand is just as it was!. Just put it down to experience, and always remember to be extra careful when you are not eating in a completely veggie restaurant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

complain! write to the manager if you have to!. i would feel exactly the same as you i havnt eaten meat for about that long too i would be so mad!.

but i am wondering why you even went to mcdonalds if you are vegetarian!? i stopped going there after i read that they cook the chips in animal fat, though im not sure if theyve changed it now!. i was so mad but i realised they never actually state any of their food is suitable for vegetarians!.!.!. despite that, they treat their animals like **** - assuming thats why you are vegetarian!? their chickens are produced in battery farms like KFC, maybe you should watch a video on that if you dont know about it!.

so if i were you i would complain, get whatever you can from them, but never go there again!. and i just had an idea that would maybe make you feel a bit better for eating chicken, give whatever money you spent on the chicken burger to an animal charity!? you might feel as though you've sort of undone what's just happenedWww@FoodAQ@Com

Hey first of all relax!. You made a mistake and you did not do it by purpose!. It is common for people to make mistakes sometimes!. It is good that you call McDonald to tell them that they gave you a wrong order!. As far as you are not allergic to chicken don't worry!. Nobody is going to hurt you because you had chicken instead of veggie!. You cannot reverse what you did, but see to it that you don't make the same mistake again!. Cheers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Poor you - i totally understand how disgusted you must be - i would complain for definite, its against your principles to eat meat and you need to make them understand that they have ultimately crossed a huge line morally by giving you the wrong thing!. Dont back down and accept a free meal if they offer it - it never hurts to ask for compensation for anything - they can only say yes or no and a little monetary compensation might make you feel a little better huh!?!?!?

Seven years without eating meat and you consumed almost half of the food you ordered before realizing it was the wrong item!! Are you sure you did not recognize it when the assistant put it infront of you!?!? Lady you really made a mistake!! You should have called their boss right away to inform him of the problem! What you can do to calm your feelings is just forget it!.

You get back at them and you'll be a laughing stock!.WHERE IS YOUR PROOF THAT YOU WERE SERVED THE WRONG FOOD!?!? YOU ALREADY ATE SOME OF IT AND THE REST WENT TO YOU KNOW WHERE!. The order form!?!? Oh, that was their understanding of your order!!

Go on feeling terrible!! In the long run you'll feel alright!. By the way ,"ARE YOU REALLY A VEGEYARIAN!?" Just curious lady!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't worry, it's not chicken!.
It is a man-made synthesised substance made up of different chemicals that after a proper fermentation process looks like chicken, tastes like chicken and behaves like chicken but it's not chicken!.

It won't hurt you!. But maybe you grow eggs or feathers in the next few weeksWww@FoodAQ@Com

sorry, but i fail to understand how you ate HALF before tasting the meat in it!. if i'm given the wrong meal i can tell just by LOOKING at it!. this sounds a little fishy to me!.!.!.!.!.

anyway, if what you say is true!.!.!.!.go complain and at least get a refund of your money!. then stop going to mcdonald's (it's nasty anyway) =PWww@FoodAQ@Com

Eaten half!? And then you realized!? Perhaps you enjoyed it and now you are feeling guilty!. It's not going to kill you!. If you ordered a ""veggie deli"" and got chilli instead, you should have questioned it right there and then!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go back and complain - it will make you feel a little bit better at least!. Plus, the person who gave you the wrong food might have a bit of sense knocked into them! Be brave - tell them exactly what you think of them!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you really care about animals and being vegetarian, you shouldn't go to mcdonalds in the first place!. Its a disgusting slaughterhouse, just don't give them your custom again!Www@FoodAQ@Com

After 7 years you aren't able to tell the difference between vegetables and chicken!? I know people say chicken tastes like everything, but come on!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally I would have vomitted after the first mouthful!. How did you not realise it was meat!?!? You definitely need to complain!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would go back and complain but seriously, here's a thought for you!.!.!.you're a vegetarian eating at McDonalds!. Think that through!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Serves you right for going to McDonalds, they use the same griddle for the veggies as they do for the meatsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sorry, I've been a veggie for years, too, and I would have noticed it was the wrong thing before I even took a bite!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

dont blame yourself its not your fault!. your still a vegi!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

dont worry its not like you knew , but id complain BIG TIME if i was youWww@FoodAQ@Com

sorry but you ate half and then realised it was chicken!.!.!.thats hard to believe!.!.!.!.if you complain all they will say is prove it!.!.!.thats why i check all my meals before i leave the store!.!.!.once you leave you dont have a leg to stand on!.!.!.!.its does sound like your trying to get over actually enjoying the chicken by making it such a bad thing and someones elses fault!.!.!.!.its entirely your fault as you didnt realise the difference until half way throughWww@FoodAQ@Com

Relax meat is good for you!. It certainly won't hurt you so there isn't any reason to get so upset!.

As for McDonald's, your choices are complain to management or never go there again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
