Question: Can someone please tell me what is a Vegan and the difference b/w Vegan and Vegetarian!?
Answers:
Vegetarians do not eat foods for which animals were killed!. This means no meat and no slaughter byproducts like gelatin, rennet, meat broths, lard or tallow!. They may or may not opt to eat dairy products and/or eggs, since those come from living animals!.

Vegans do not eat, use, wear or otherwise consume anything of animal origin whatsoever!. So, no meat, slaughter byproducts, dairy, eggs, honey, leather, suede, wool, silk, down, fur, feathers or pearls!. Vegans also source makeup, toiletries and other consumer products made without animal ingredients and without animal testing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian is someone who does not eat any animal meat!.
Like chicken, beef, pork, or fish!.
Some people who do eat fish, but no other meat consider themselves vegetarians!.
These people are a type of vegetarian, but the correct term for them is pescatarian (I'm not completely sure I spelt that right)!.
Some vegetarians decide to also give up eggs, but it is a very gray area!. Since the egg is yet to be fertalized, it is technically not yet an animal, but most vegetarians that give up meat to boycott the factory farm business gives up eggs because eating them would be continuing to support the business!.

Vegans are people who do not eat any meat or use any kind of animal biproduct!.
Ex!. They do not eat any meat, honey, gelatin (jello), dairy, or eggs!. They also do not wear fur, down (that tiny fluffy feather that usually comes inside coats and pillows), or any product that uses animals, such as Burt's Bees!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A VEGAN is basically someone who shuns all animal products, from their diet, their clothes, and even other items they use!.
While some choose being vegan for health reasons and environmental reasons, most choose it because they don't believe in causing any pain to any creature, particularly since it is so unnecessary, and/or they believe we just should let all animals live their own natural lives, without our interfering!.

The main difference between a vegan and a vegetarian is that a lot of vegetarians still use dairy and egg products and aren't as strict in their lifestyles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most vegetarians are Lacto or ovo vegetarians or both; Lacto-ovo vegetarians!. Lacto vegetarians consume dairy products from animals and not eggs!. Ovo-vegetarians eat the eggs from animals but not dairy!. Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat both dairy and eggs!.

Vegans however, don't eat or use any kind of animal based products at all!. This includes honey, gelatin and the wearing of leather or furs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans follow a lifestyle that does not correlate with the consumption of animal products, whether it's eating meat or wearing clothing that was made of an animal!. This lifestyle is called Veganism!. Vegetarians simply do not eat meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegan doesnt eat or use anything that comes from animals such as leather or eggs/cheese/milk!.

Vegetarian does not eat meat but does eat eggs/cheese/milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
