Which vegan foods hold the most nutritional value (details inside)?!
Hello, I've recently gone vegan and just wanted to brush up on some facts!. I have a few questions!.!.!.
-What are the vegan brain foods!? (Foods that are supposed to stimulate brain development, improve memory, etc!.)
-Which fruits hold the most nutritional value!?
-Which veggies hold the most nutritional value!?
-Is it true that you should sprinkle brewer's yeast on your food for optimal nutrition!?
-Overall, which vegan foods have the most nutritional value!?

Andi (the first answerer) is correct!. Walnuts are good for brain function due to their Omega 3 content!. :)
Fruits and vegetables are nutrient rich!. However, mango fruit is very healthy, probably the best fruit ever!! It contains vitamin C, beta carotene, zinc, B vitamins, and even a fair bit of iron, all of these are what your body needs!.
I love mangoes, they are yummy but very rich in nutrients too!.
Blueberries are great!. They contain vitamin E, an antioxidant that is good for your heart and it keeps your cells healthy!. All fruit has great health benefits!.
Brewer's yeast *can* be sprinkled on food, it adds vitamin B12 and other B vitamins to the food!.
The most nutrient rich vegetable!? Not sure, but carrots are amazing!. They contain vitamin C, potassium, fibre, vitamin K and trace minerals!. They contain a wide range of vitamins and minerals!. Carrots are good for the immunity!.

Minus salmon and yogurt, pretty much all the "super foods" are highly nutritious and brain foods!. Broccoli, spinach, brightly colored peppers, blueberries, strawberries, apples!. The darker the color of the fruit or veggie, the healthier!. But don't discount bananas either :)
For grains, whole grains are the best, not refined bread and white rice!.

It's a common nutritional defect in our American diet that we focus on one or two items and assume if we include it somewhere in the day that we're getting a balanced meal!.
This idea should be avoided!.

I don't know the answers to all of your questions, but as a vegan I do know that walnuts are a great brain food-- I read an article about that in Time Magazine some time ago!. also, one vegan food that is PACKED with nutrients of all kinds is a grain called quinoa (pronounced keen-wa)!.

im a vegetarian so im not too informed on everything about wegans but to answer your question about fruits and veggies, look for color!. the darker or more intense the color is the more vitamins and nutrients is contains!. for example romain lettuce is better for you then iceburg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
