no paper
start now start this second
all it takes is not touching meat again, simple!.
thats pretty ridiculous to wait until your 25, tbh if you are that sure and you beleive that animal cruelty is wrong and you dont want to eat them then just do it
setting a date doesnt get you anywhere
the way i see it, you either do or you dont
ive been vegetarian for about 3 months now, i love it and i have no regrets
i say just do it, right this second!!
NO MORE MEAT FOR YOU!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, there's no paperwork required to become vegetarian!. ;)

And some people just stop eating meat, period, overnight!.

Some people phase it out slowly - especially if they have a lot of meat in their fridge or freezer!. You just use it up but don't replace it with more meat!. Instead, buy vegetarian protein sources - beans, whole grains, soy-based protein like tofu and tempeh, wheat-based protein like seitan, or even eggs if you want to eat eggs!.

If you want to wait until you're 25, that's fine, but people become vegetarian at any age!. I started to phase meat out of my diet when I was 12 or 13 years old (whatever age the summer after 7th grade was)!.

It would be a good idea to talk to your parents, since it sounds like you're younger, and tell them how you feel and see if they're open to the idea!. Maybe you can go to the nutritionist and learn about how to eat a balanced vegetarian diet, since most parents that eat a meat-centric diet don't really know about vegetarian diets!. I went through a similar process, where my parents were less than ecstatic, but by the time they talked with my pediatrician and after we saw a nutritionist she recommended, they became really open!.

And of course you can always wait until you're an adult!. :) There's really no rules about how to go about it and when, just make sure you're informed and know what you're doing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can just become a vegatarian, but it will be a lot of work and you have to consider whether you want to be a full vegatarian or a red meat vegatarian (you only it white meats, e!.g: fish, chicken, etc) and if you think that its wrong to eat meat, what about the animals that are killled for the sake of leather or fur!? is that okay!? so i think you have to consider how far you are willing to go with this vegatarianism!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Being a vegetarian and saying you are one is depending on how well you educate yourself!. There is a lot more to being a vegetarian than just eating vegetables; it requires carefully balancing your proteins and carbohydrates and still get the necessary vitamins as well!.

My ex and I were vegetarians for several years it took much study and research to balance everything!. We went to health food stores and purchased books to read and research!. We also attended Seventh Day Adventist Church cooking seminars to learn more about preparing foods for a vegetarian diet!.

There is nothing wrong with eating meat like wise there is nothing wrong in not eating meat!. Don't base your desire to be vegetarian solely on feeling sorry for killing and eating animal flesh!. I do agree in greatly limiting the eating of red meats, too much red meat is not healthy!.

Another thing to be very careful about is the use of added monosodium Glutamate (MSG)!. This chemical is used as a flavor enhancer and is very dangerous to your health and in particular your brain!. Many fast food restaurants use MSG in their products, especially KFC and fried fish places and most but not all Chinese foods!. Please read this information concerning MSG:

Good luck in your pursuit!. Oh, I am no longer a vegetarian but I do limit my meat intake and eat mostly chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I stopped eating meat when I was 10!.!. that's 18 years ago!! Never eaten it since (intentionally!.!. there IS the occasional "mix up" You know!.!. you order a crunchwrap supreme from Taco Bell, and TELL them to put beans instead of teh beef!.!. but when you get it and take a couple bites, you realize it has beef!.!. but you've allready eaten like 2 bites!.!.that's what I'm talking about!.!.)

You should become a vegtarian!.!.!.but why wait till you're 25!?!? Start now!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hey Jen D, no one ever told you about the secret veggie society handshake!? <just kidding

I wonder why so many new vegetarians think there's some kind of club or group that you pay membership dues to!. Calling yourself a vegetarian is like calling yourself an animal lover, Its a personal title you use to discribe yourself!.

It would be fun to have a secret handshake though :o)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why not start now!? What's the hold-up!?

Just quit eating meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why 25!? Is that along time away!? If you want to go veggie just do it!. Make sure that you know what you need to eat to be healthy though!. If you are under 18, speak with your parents about this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
