Answers:
Yep, my mom was, because she was a vegetarian too at the time!. (She isn't anymore :-( ) My dad didn't try to stop me, but he still waved hot dogs in my face and stuff!. :-) Great job keeping animals as friends, not food!Www@FoodAQ@Com

my parents were really good about it, to the point where my mom was willing to cook separate things!. I think if you're mature about it and they understand that you have valid reason, then hopefully they'll accept it!. also, it's never a good idea to criticize them for still eating meat; it just makes people annoyed with you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Speaking as a parent, if my child had done the research involved on a healthy non-meat-based diet and was truly incorporating high protein foods like dried beans and peas, getting enough calcium and iron, and taking a multivitamin, I'd have no trouble w/ it!.

If they just quit eating meat, and took no measures to replace that nutrition, I'd have a problem w/ it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no!. when i went vegetarian a year nd a half ago, and my mom yelled and made fum of me for awhile!. my brother decided to go veggie with me sothat was cool!. but my dad still b*tches about it still!.
id say if you think about going veggie stick with it!. its worth it in the end!.
hahah!. but since i went veggie ive been healither!. i use to have migraneslike 3 days a week and they have stoppednow so my mom accepted it!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. But that was a good thing!. It motivated me to grow up and move out the second I could legally sign a rental agreement and get a job!. Actually, I was a bit too young, but landlords and employers and banks somehow looked the other way and I managed just fine, but that's another story!. Now they're cool about it, on the rare occasions when I see them!. It just takes time!.!.!.!.!.!.!. 9 years to be exact!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

unfortunately no!.!.!.im only 14 and my mom has tried to slip meat in my lunches!.!.!.!.too bad i always check!.!.!.

but she is a nurse so shes worried that im not eating healthy enough!.!.!.but im getting better at eating !.!.!.better lol!.!.

my dad doesnt care too much!.!.!.but he thinks it kinda weird!. luckily, ive never really liked meat, except honey garlic chicken wings, so i dont miss it!. the worst thing is people waving it in my face saying "doesnt that look good!?"

no!.!.!.actually it doesnt lol :P

keep on showing your independance! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

um!.!.!. not exactly but i just refused to eat meat (it was sorta like a hunger strike) and they didn't think i'd last so they shrugged it off and ignored me!.!.!. now that they know its going to last (its been 3-4 months) they accomodate me and make meat free food!.!.!. but my grandma is still unhappy! lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

This should not be possible, why wouldn't parents be supportive in these matters!? I would be fully supportive, whether pescetarian, vegetarian, or vegan!Www@FoodAQ@Com
