Question: *Sprays riddle be gone*Mothers day help!? Easy vegan sweets!?
Ok, at first I was planning on cooking a vegan cherry coke a cola cake!. But I didn't have time to go shopping!. So are there any easy vegan sweets that can be made with every day food items!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

1 C flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbl vegan butter
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 C light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/3 C rolled oats
1/2 raisins

Preheat oven to 375!. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together!. In a separate bowl, mix butter and granulated sugar until smooth then add brown sugar and vanilla!. Stir in dry ingredients, then the oats and raisins!.

Drop the batter by rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart on backing sheets covered in parchment paper or greased!. Bake for 10-12 minutes!. Do not bake them until they are golden brown but only until they "look dull on the surface"!. Resist temptation as this will over-cook them and make them crunchy!. Store them in air-tight containers at room temp!.

My 9 year old can make these herself and I always have all the ingredients!. You can even make these without the raisins or with other dried fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
