You really need to just read the ingredients on everything you eat!. The tortillas i get (Ol Del Passa usually) are suitable, however a lot of foods you wouldn't expect contain animal products!. They often seem unnesecary to me but you just have to avoid them :/ lame i knowWww@FoodAQ@Com

If you live in the southwest - check the labels really good!. Even commercial ones might have lard in them - authentic tortillas!. The further that you get away from the southwest - less likely!.

NOT ALWAYS! Authentic tortillas are made with lard (pork fat)!. Most commercially prepared tortillas aren't, but check to be sure!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just make sure they are cooked in vegetable oil and not lard; same thing with the refried beans!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
