Answers:
Maybe you can

1!. Bring her to a good vegetarian/vegan restaurant for a nice lovely meal and then let her know you want to be a vegan!.

2!. show her the vegan society website, let her understand what is veganism!.

3!. if she don't want to go to the vegan society website, you can collect or print out information on going vegan, for her to read!. To show that you know what you are doing and let her have a better understanding of what is veganism!.

4!. let her know, you will take care of yourself, your diet, your own shopping etc, so she will not have to worry and it won't inconvience her

All the best :)

cheers

Is there any vegan cworkshop or tWww@FoodAQ@Com

Do your research very carefully!. Going vegan is incredibly difficult!. (I did it a few years ago)
Because of the more involved preparations, as well as the expensive costs of going vegan, you should be prepared to pay for and make all your own meals!.
If your mother is okay with preparing separate vegetarian meals for you now, then I suggest you don't rock the boat and wait until you are on your own before you attempt this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mom, I've decided I want to be vegan, and here is why!.!.!.

Do your research!. Let her know that dairy and eggs are actually crueler than meat!. You know that dairy consumption actually increases the risk of osteporosis because of all the animal protein!. Find substitutes you can use (Earth Balance margarine, Soy Delicious "ice cream", etc!.)!.

Oh, and if she's been supportive ofyour vegetarianism, thank her for that very early in the conversation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tell her that you want to be vegan, and tell her why!. Listen to any objections she has and try to answer them!. For example, if she worries that your diet will become unbalanced (especially important for someone not yet adult, you need the nutrients and proteins to develop properly), you can have meal plans worked out, with nutritional content, to show how you plan to have a properly balanced diet even with your new restrictions!. Or, if she worries about extra fuss in cooking your food, then you could volunteer to cook your own meals separately so you wouldn't be an extra bother!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

First, make sure this is def the way you want to go!. If you truly want to go vegan, figure out why!. If you want to do what's right, it's probably important to you!. If it's something like your boyfriend is vegan, think twice!. The best way to approach your mom is lead into the conversation by stating the perks of being veganWww@FoodAQ@Com

You say "Mom, I going to be vegan"!. And don't let her try to talk you out of it!.

Furthermore, being vegan is not difficult!. I've been one for 15 years with no difficulty at all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Are you willing to cook all your own food!? It may come down to that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hey i have just asked a simaler question look at my answers for good info !Www@FoodAQ@Com

hah!. wow!. just tell her you want to be!. i dont think she;ll care that much because you're aready a vegetarian!.!.!.so whats the big deal!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

well u could reseach how they treat all the animals its awful and show ur mom my moms oneWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tell your mother as politely as possible, but consider this:

Eating vegan is very risky if not done right!. Strict vegans miss out on many important nutrients provided by lacto-ovo vegetarian diets!. You will have to take supplements for as long as you are on this strict diet!. Think about that as well as what I say next!.

No child should be allowed to DICTATE what the family should or should not eat! Any parent who allows this to happen has abdicated his/her responsibilty as an adult and parent!.

But do not be suprised if she explains as politely as possible!.!.!.!.!.

"As long as you are living in my house, eating meals provided by me and your father with the money we earn to feed you!.!.!.!.you will eat what is put before you!. If you want to adopt a radical diet and eating habits you will have to wait until you are living on your own and preparing your own meals with food you purchase with the money you earn!."Www@FoodAQ@Com
