I was making some chocolate chip cookies and when it came time to put the eggs in I cracked one open and looked at it closely!.!.!. and I was wondering what those little white dangly things attached to the yolk are!. So I googled it, and read about 'The Parts of the Egg'!. Which really grossed me out!. So I asked my mom if I could not put eggs in the cookies and she said 'No!.' of course she would say that she wants me to eat meat and chickens!. But I didn't put any eggs in the cookies!. eggs are okay, considering it has proteins that vegetarians are lacking!.
i would recomment to take out butter and put eggs instead!.!.
vegetarians are missing their proteins and eating alot of sugar and fattenning stuff!.
it is not healthy at all!.
unless you are a vegan that only eat fruits and veggies,
i suggest you eat eggs!.
although i HATE eggs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegan diet (which does not include ANY animal products) is not a very good diet to follow!.!.as it may create vitamin deficienies which may cause aneamia !. Our bodies need animal protein to survive!. This does not have to be red meat!.!.!.or fish!.!.!.!.!.but it can include as I said!.!.animal products that is!.!.!. some dairy products ( low fat milk and cheese!.!.!.!.low fat cream!.!.or ice cream!.!.!.eggs!.!.!.!.) As long as a diet includes these products!.!.!.which are as stated (animal products as they actually come from animals!.!.!.!.!."milk comes from cows!.!.and eggs come from chickens')Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you are not going to eat any eggs, just make sure you are getting enough protein from other sources like nuts and legumes!. also consider how many foods are made with eggs in them and decide if it would be easy for you to do without any of them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Eating a usual egg is not similar to eating an embryo because the majority of eggs that hit the market are unfertilized!.

There are a lot of good reasons why you should enjoy eggs - guilt free!
Eggs don't increase heart disease risk in most people!. A Harvard School of Public Health study, which was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 1999, found that healthy adults were able to eat an egg a day without increasing their risk of heart disease or stroke!. This is the same conclusion drawn by many earlier studies, which found only small changes in blood cholesterol levels after a daily intake of 1 to 2 eggs!. Some studies have also shown that levels of HDL, the "good" blood cholesterol, increased when subjects ate egg-supplemented diets!.
Only a minority of people, about one-fourth of the population, should probably limit their cholesterol consumption!. (That is because they are "sensitive" to dietary cholesterol which affects the amount of cholesterol in their blood)!. These people include those with both high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels!. They can still have unlimited egg whites because they contain no cholesterol and no fat!. The rest of us can enjoy both egg whites and egg yolks - even those of us who have elevated cholesterol levels but normal or low triglyceride levels!. To prevent heart disease, it's far more important for most people to limit fat in the diet, especially saturated fat and trans fat!. So, when you have eggs, eat them with lots of grain foods, veggies and fruits, rather than more fatty fare!.
Eggs are nutritious!. They're nutrient dense which means that eggs provide a good proportion of needed nutrients for the calories they provide!. Eating nutrient-dense foods is particularly important for children as well as older adults because their energy needs are less but their nutrient needs are still high!. Nutrient density is also important for anyone of any age who is trying to lose weight!.
An egg has very little total fat (5 grams/large egg) with most of it (about 3!.5 grams) being the healthier unsaturated form and none of it as trans fat!. Most of us can enjoy eggs without guilt, but think twice about what accompanies them on your plate !. !. !. and how they are made/served!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

lyn - Vegetarians don't lack protein, that is a very old myth that has been disproved so many years ago!. Plant protein is healthier than animal!.
Some vegetarians eat eggs, some don't, depending on what type of vegetarian you are (ovo-vegetarians eat eggs, but no meat or dairy)!.
I personally don't eat eggs (or drink milk)!. I'm not a vegan (yet), but when I do bake, I use a substitute!. There are SO many available: Ener-G (available at health food stores, it's a potato starch), Silken Tofu, applesauce, ground flaxseed, banana, oil, water, etc!. It depends on what recipe you're using!. Ener-G is my fav for cookies and scones!. I use applesauce in my Vegan Dark Chocolate Chip Cupcakes (recipe on Recipezaar)!. If you give up eggs (this includes in baked goods, bread, etc), you can call yourself a lacto-vegetarian :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
