Trolls hiding under the cabbage leaves?!

Question: Trolls hiding under the cabbage leaves!?
I've noticed over the last few weeks that trolls seem to target this forum above most others!. Wouldn't it be better if everyone had a 'don't feed the trolls' policy and then they might get sick of it!? I know it's hard to ignore them but it just makes them worse when they get what they want!. A lot of people on here seem to take things very seriously and that's their perogative but the trolls seem to thrive on antagonising such people!.
Anyone else have any ideas on this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
that has been proposed many times, but alas it will not work!.

The trolls have been around for 2 years!. These last 2 weeks have been quiet compared to December last year!.

Althoguh it has to be said that our current crop of trolls are pretty lame compared to previousd batches!. These are just repetitive with no thought, humour or real arguements, they appear very childish compared to thier predecesors!.

The problem with a "don't feed the trolls" policy is that they have new victims ever day, its impossible to keep telling everyone who pops into this forum about the trolls so they have a constant stream of people to wind up!.

"report" is your best option!.

by the way, i seem to have god-like powers of deletion so if you want any genuine troll activity deleting, just send me the url ;-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that people know when a question is really someone just trying to be spiteful!. We need to learn to not answer those questions and just simply report it!.

examples would be:

"Vegans: you kill plants when you eat them!"
"Veg*ns: What is your favorite piece of meat!?"

Those types of questions are too obivious to be taken seriously and should just be ignored or reported!. Don't give into such morons asking those questionsWww@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think they are hiding!.
Consider that :
this isn't a forum!.!.it's a question and answer venue and it's IN THE FOOD section!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
that pretty much opens up the flood waters for just about anything
I think that if it bothers you that much, perhaps you may want to evaluate your participation, rather than attempt to influence and/or control others!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

YA needs to bar these people e-mail address to stop the endless multiple accounts!. So what if they get suspended!. They just use and or create another account!.

also as someone else mentioned, a small fee to join, even just a dollar would help a bunch!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Trolls are childish morons that hide behind the safety of their computer screens!.

They would not dare insult you to your face!. I'm sure you would show them who's boss! :)

Seriously though, as soon as you see a troll, block them and report straight away!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i hate to sound like a troll but you stop feeding them also!.

they all have small genitals and big bellies!.!.!.!. they are attention whores and have only their mother to love them!.

they need this!.!.!.!. without this they would have no validation in life!.!.!.!. thus ending it all!.!.!.!.

now what would that do!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

We've been fighting trolls since vegetarianism existed!. My own dear mamma assured me that all veggies eat meat when nobody's looking, and also that they all died young of anaemia!.
So I left home and gave up meat, still here 40summat years on!.
Truth beats trolls anytime!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I totally agree with you BUT when you get people like Christy posting the most ridiculous and stupid of "question/comments" it's hardly surprisingWww@FoodAQ@Com

I know what you mean, this forum really seems to enjoy feeding the trolls!.

BTW: your post is off topic it should read "Veggie Trolls eating the cabbage leaves" :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've never really heard about "trolls" until now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
