Can I replace breadcrumbs with oatmeal to make tofu meatballs?!

Question: Can I replace breadcrumbs with oatmeal to make tofu meatballs!?
Every recipe I find on the net says to use breadcrumbs, but I know oatmeal is used in meatloaf, so I was wondering if i could use oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
If you use oatmeal, be sure to crush it up more!. It has a heartier texture than breadcrumbs, so be sure to grind the oatmeal in a food processor or seal the oatmeal in a bag, let out the air and smoosh it with your hands (outside of bag) until the texture is fine/medium coarseWww@FoodAQ@Com
