Consumption Of Calcium in Milk?!


Question: Consumption Of Calcium in Milk!?
since doing a bit of research, ive been reading that drinking cow's milk is basically pointless for calcium intake, as you don't absorb it!.

what are better substitutes!? something in which we actually absorb the calcium!?
im talking about a drink!. i already eat plenty of broccoli & the such in which contains plenty of calcium!.

Calcium is found in nuts, especially almonds, and tofu has a significant amount of calcium- 100g tofu contains 300mg!.

Calcium is a mineral that is harder to absorb than any other mineral, since it requires vitamin D for it's uptake into the body!.

Dairy products are high in protein, too much protein causes calcium losses though the urea!.

Try fortified orange juice, or fortified soya milks on your cereal every day!. Broccoli is great for calcium, so keep it up!. If you feel you are not getting enough dietary calcium, you may wish to consider supplementation, just to be on the safe side!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Milk is not a good choice, your right!. Not only is it unhealthy, it contains some things that you probably didn't bargain for!.!.!.such as pus!. Yes pus!. It's not a myth either!.

I drink Silk soy milk!. It is delicious!. There a few different varieties!. They have plain, vanilla, and even very vanilla if you like sweet drinks!.

The perfect way to get all the calcium you need is eating fortified breakfast cereal with soy milk!. Chances are you can get most of your nutrients if you eat something like total or Kashi!.

Seeing that dark green leafy vegetables have the most amount of absorbable calcium, I would say that juiced dark green leafy vegetables would be the highest of any drink out there!. Since they're also a source of magnesium, they'll absorb better too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think milk is indeed very important!. every day new discoveries are made one cannot do according to that!.My mom inlaw was very fond of milk thats why {i think she lived 93 yrs}!.So if u like milk go aheadWww@FoodAQ@Com
