Answers:
Ground beef- The best meatless version is boca's!. It taste yummy! It is a little chewy though!. If you do not like the chewiness opt for the brands that are in the plastic rolls which can be found in freezer or refrigerated section with health foods or meatless products!.

Best veggie burgers- MORNINGSTAR!!! If you want to know what they taste like go to Burger King and get a veggie burger!. They use the original morningstar brand!.

Best splurge- RIBS! Morningstar has these GREAT ribs!. They taste so awesome, please try these!. They taste like McDonald's McRibs but better!. Morningstar has great non chicken nuggets too!.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS- morningstar bacon (that stuff is horrible), fake salmon, fake meat cutlets, fake meat lunch meat!.

Oh and morningstar veggie dogs and corndogs are very affordable!.

I live in a very small town in IL and can find all of these at myneighboring towns local supermarket!. (hyvee, krogers)

Good luck! :)

EDIT: Meat alternatives are going to be expensive!. If you are looking for "fillers" and trying to avoid cost try beans!. Lentils, garbanzos, etc are very cheap (1$) a bag!.

The best brand of substitute meat that I have found is made by Yves!. The Good Dog hot dogs, Veggie Burgers burgers and bulk Ground Round!. Hi Sshyne!. Lol your questions are private but i tacked you down!.

Here is the recipe!

1 bag of Morning Star Meal Starters Crumbles
2 Morning Star sausage patties
3 slices of Morning Star bacon
4 eggs
Bread crumbs (2 sliced worth!?)
1 envelop of Lipton Onion Recipe Dip Mix
3-4 table spoons of your favorite BBQ sauce
( I was just adding for taste here so now I really am guessing)
Sprinkle some McCormick "Season-All" , Minced garlic, McCormick-Grill mates "Roasted Garlic and Herbs"
3 pinches of Parsley Flakes
Louisiana Hot sauce
Worcestershire Sauce

-Depends on how salty you want it-
HUGE BOWL and a big 'ol spoon

I cut up my bacon tiny tiny!. Popped my two sausage patties in the microwave for 30 seconds and also cut them up!. Poured in the onion mix!. Next got the Crumbles right out the freezer and sorta made sure it was not clunky and poured them in!. Cracked my eggs over the mix evenly and then stir and stir!. Added all my seasoning!. Tasted it to make sure I likey =]

Ok I had no bread crumbs so I toasted two ends of bread put them in a zip lock bag and beat the bag!. It WORKS!
Put the bread crumbs in last!

Ok now this stuff is hella cold!. Because everything was nearly frozen!. Form the burgers in your hand!. Yes feel the freezing burn!I dreamed of this
Make them the exact size you want, this is not bloody meat!. The size will stay the same!

Use some Pam or Pure and grease your pan!. Pre-heat DONT FORGET to get that oven good and hot for 350 degrees!. Baked for 12-15 minutes on ONE side!. Flip and bake for another 5-8 minutes!. They stick!.!.!.!. they stay together soooo lovely! Very pretty burger -licks lips-

I also sprinkled a bit of shredded sharp cheese in my crumble mix!. Take it or leave it!.

I wanted to take a picture but my batteries are dead and my charger took legs and is hiding!.

No nasty grease to drain!. Gotta love that!.
Thank you sorry it took so long to post it all but the little box has a character limit =]
ENJOY!!
