B12 is a bacteria that is produced in the GI tract!. Humans actually produce this, but it is produced too far down to actually be absorbed!. So where do animals get their B12!? They eat grass, grains, water, etc that are tainted with bacteria!. Before we were incredibly selfish and polluted the earth, humans could obtain B12 in the same way!. Now we have to filter our dirty water, wash our vegetables thoroughly, etc!. That's why eating animal products has become one of the main methods to obtain B12 in the modern day diet!. There's no question meat is a important part of our diet!. We are omnivores-- there's no denying it!. People who say otherwise are kidding themselves!. The only argument against meat is that people, especially in the U!.S!. tend to eat way too much and are out of balance in their diet!.
