Vegans do you believe the sea pearls reusuable tampon which is sea sponge goes against vegan lifestyle & is?!

Question: Vegans do you believe the sea pearls reusuable tampon which is sea sponge goes against vegan lifestyle & is!?
cruel!?

At first I thought the sea sponge were sea plants, had no idea they are actually live, living, breathing marine aquatic life created by either sexually or asexually under the sea!.

Isn't there another better less harsh substitute for sea pearls!?

I know there's organic tampons, organic maxi's and the Mooncup, but what about another substitute for sea pearls that doesn't involve using live, living, breathing species!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Me, personally I wouldn't use them because I'd hate to contribute to some poor sea sponge being harvested!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Um, I'm confused, as usual when it comes to so many products!. I was just going to say use a regular tampon, but then I read don't use plastic applicators!? I'm assuming those are somehow animal bi-product!? Gosh, being a vegan would be hard work, but more power to ya!

Couldn't you use O!.B!. brand tampons though!? They don't have an applicator!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

OK !. !. !. I'm all for environmental causes, but come on!. I think we should focus on things that really make a difference instead of worrying about our self righteousness!. Just don't use tampons with plastic applicators!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Plants are living breathing species too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
