Answers:
Unfortunately, there are nutrients that vegetarians can miss if they're not careful!.

1!. B vitamins!. One great source of these is nutritional yeast!. I love eating toast with butter and nutritional yeast for breakfast!. You can find nutritional yeast at your local health food store, at a Whole Foods, or similar store!.

2!. Omega-3 fatty acids!. Most people get these from fish oil!. Flax oil is usually the vegetarian alternative!.

3!. IRON! This is a big thing, especially for women!. Iron deficiency can lead to a lot of fatigue!. Usually, meat-eaters get it from the meat they eat!. I've generally not had a problem with it as a vegetarian, but I've heard of women whose iron levels were so difficult to maintain that they had to return to a carniverous diet because of it!. Try an iron supplement!.

I have been vegetarian my whole life, and I think everyone goes through times when they are feeling fatigued!. It could be the weather!. It could be stress or depression!. It could be that you're not getting enough sleep!.

I tend to eat a lot of pasta/carbs as a vegetarian as well!. I try to listen to my body and what it's telling me!. If I'm seriously craving something, I go buy it and eat it until my body is satisfied!.

A typical day looks like this for me:
toast w/ nutritional yeast and lemonade for breakfast
mac n' cheese, carrots, pretzels, applesauce/other fruit and water for lunch
dinner varies--sometimes pasta, sometimes soy meat substitutes (Morningstar Farms Original Grillers are great), cereal, Morningstar Farms has a great rice cake patty that is good as well, a burrito maybe, Chinese food, a pizza, etc!.

I'd be happy to share some recipes if you're looking for something new!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A well-balanced vegetarian diet provides all the nutrients you need for good health!. In the case of protein, it's not only found in meat!. It's also present in adequate quantities in soy products and nuts, as well as in combinations of foods such as pulses and grains!. In fact it would be very difficult to design a vegetarian diet that doesn't include enough protein!. Your body will absorb more protein from plant life than meat, plus you will be getting the protein direct from the source, just like the animals get it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yup, proteins!. Try meat alternatives!. They're freaking fantastic!.
At your normal grocery store you can probably find vegetarian hamburger patties, chicken patties and nuggets, sausage, and a few other alternatives!.
But go to a health food store, and that's where the stuff gets good!. Vegetarian beef riblets, bacon, ground beef to put in tacos, spaghetti sauces, whateverrr!. And all that is in the freezer section!. Go to the refrigerated section and you can find tofurkey lunch meats!.
They have a an exact substitute for just about every meat product!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm pretty sure that being a vegetarian shouldn't make you tired!. I have been one for years now, and as long as you get protein and iron (the stuff that meat gives you) you should be fine!. Dairy has alot of protein and cereals sometimes have iron and extra vitamins!. But to answer the question, no being a vegetarian won't make you tired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no no no!!! a veg lifestyle is the healthiest and best way to live!. carnivores are walking cemetaries w/rotting flesh in their stomachs!. animals at the slaughterhouse are also injected w/antibiotics so when carnivores consume them they are breaking down their immune systems!. also many animal "corpses" ie:meat-that people eat contain worms and parasites!. as far as your diet, add a bcompex, take a veg daily multiple for women that has extra iron!. and make sure you get your protein, many great superior protein sources exist as you well know, soy, seitan, soba noodles, tofu, and if your lacto vegetarian, you can consume dairy, and whey!.
im a long time vegetarian and am in perfect health and look great!!!remember, u r what u eat!! go veg!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go see your family doctor!. Meat is a good source of protein!. Try adding some broiled hamburger, broiled eggs, sliced turkey or grilled chicken to your daily diet!. You should be having 4 oz of meat each day!.
Just be a vegetarian during the weekends when you are around friends so they can see you don't eat meat!. This way, when this trend falls out of fashion you will still be getting the proper diet to keep yourself healthy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's an iron-deficiency anemia, probably!. If you're also at a low weight and have dark circles under your eyes, these are also indicators!.
There are a lot of vegetarian-friendly items with iron, like broccolli and dark-leafy veggies!. But if you're desperate for a boost, try to occasionally eat oysters!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may be tired for a number of reasons only 1 being your diet!.
1) Enough real Rest!.!.6-9 uninterrupted sleep
2) Enough exercise
3)Health:Food Allergies, Thyroid, Stress, Depression all cause exhaustion
4) Imbalance in diet; Too much Sugar(even fruit), Too many refined carbs(cereals, white rice, white potatoes, junk food)!. Not enough healthy raw foods!. If you really think it's lack of protien add more nuts, legumes to your diet!.
I also take a b-complex for energy!. or a Liquid B-12 w/folic acid!.
Here is a great article by Dr!. John McDougall on Veggie sources of Protien!.

Slainté (to your health)Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds like iron deficiency anemia!. If you start seeing stars, feeling faint, or become nauseated, those are other indicators!. Your doctor can do a quick blood test to find out more!.

also, you should try some more proteins like tofu, beans, or nuts!. Too many carbs will make your blood sugar unstable and cause you to feel tired!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A high carb diet can make your blood sugar zoom up and down and leave you tired!. Try adding healthy fats to your diet, and protien as well!. Almonds are a great food because they are portable, they have healthy fat, and some protein too!.
Too many will make you gain weight though!. Try to have fats, protein, and carbs at each meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You'll really give yourself the creeps when you wake up dead from lack of vitamins and minerals! I know I've seen it happen before and she was a looker and now shes worm food! Is that what you want to happen to you!? Get some vitamins and eat the damn things now! NO I'm not being pleasant and don't intend to start now when it comes to your life! You sound like another dumb chick afraid of the wrong things in life!Www@FoodAQ@Com

you are fatigued because you are not consuming the proper proteins needed for your body, which you can only get from meatWww@FoodAQ@Com

um yea because it's so against everything your meant to do!. You have certain teeth for a reason! they are there to tear meat apart!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need more protein (beans) and more iron (take a multivitamin)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you need to make sure your getting protien in there too!.!.!. thats what is most likely dragging you down!.!.!. try beans or tofuWww@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds like you need more protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could have anemia that comes from diet and blood loss from periodsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Fatigue can be caused by stress, depression, mental health issues, sleeping too much or too little, not eating right, and so on!. The only way to rule out your dietary choices is to make sure you're meeting your daily values!.

Make sure you're meeting your daily values of all your nutrients (fat, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water!.) Be informed about nutrition, what you're eating, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
