Good Kefir Recipes?!
I am thinking about getting Kefir for my daughter who is experiencing intestinal/colon problems - I think probiotics will really help her!. Does anyone know any good recipes for smoothies!? Thanks!!!

As for smoothies, soy yogurt blended with some fruit (such as blueberries & raspberries) is a nutritional powerhouse meal in a glass! Easy to digest and full of vitamins and minerals!.

-The colon requires plenty of water to function properly!. You probably hear this all the time, but drinking water throughout the day should help!. I love natural mineral water!.
-Gentle exercise!. I don't believe that heavy exercise or strenuous activity is good for the body!. I love gentle exercise, maybe try some walking every day!. Gentle exercise should help because it boosts circulation!.
-Ease stress!. Encourage your daughter to release any stress she may have- there are many ways to do this!. Maybe meditation would be worth a try!? Stress can cause a multitude of health problems, especially congestion in the body!.

[edit] You're correct, antibiotics can be detrimental to colon health, as they ''wipe out'' even the good bacteria!. It takes a long time to replenish bacterial colonies in the gut!. But I'm happy to hear she has a healthy diet!. I hope time heals all!.
