Missing my favorite foods?!


Question: Missing my favorite foods!?
I can't do it any more!.!.!. my craving for pizza and ice cream (among other things) has gotten so bad; I can't go on!. For me, eating ice cream is a very emotional experience!. It makes me happy because of the good memories associated with it!. Should I just give up!? Help!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try Rice Dream Ice Cream (dairy free)!. Make home made pizza, it's usually better than delivery anyway!.!.!.and use vegan cheese!. You can do it but if you break down and eat a gallon of ice cream and eat an entire pizza, don't beat yourself up!. Just pick up the pieces and start new the next day!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fill the void with foods that are vegan!. I used to miss ice cream, until I found this awesome place that sells smoothies!. Sure the ice cream was good (and so are the smoothies), but it was extremely unhealthy, while the smoothies weren't!.
And ice cream may bring back "good memories", but I believe you may be using that as an excuse to eat it again!.

There are many substitutes available:
Ice cream- So Delicious and Tofutti (I prefer the latter)
Chocolate- Carrob
Pizza- Make your own or check a local store
Cheese- Check a local Vegetarian store for some vegan cheese

If eating ice cream is an emotional experience for you and you feel like you can't live without it, I do not suggest this diet for you, because you are not serious enough about it!. I also suggest you see a dietitian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarians can eat pizza and ice cream!.!.!.!.!.!.!. atleast veggie pizza which contains everything except meat or fish !.!.!.!.!.!.!. and ice cream as vegetarians can use milk and eggs !.!.!.!. VEGANS however, CANNOT use the regular ice cream, you have to go to the health store and purchase the vegan versions!.!. it may taste slightly different but it is still the same, so you can have what you want and not quit !Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a vegetarian that still eats dairy and eggs but i'm guessing you are vegan!? Try a whole foods grocery store or try eating sherbert or italian ice (not sure if they're vegan, though) If there is a whole foods grocery store near you, that is your best bet!. I assume you are torn because you are dieting!? Anyway, I recommend trying Weight Watchers because it allows you to make good food choices while indulging in your favorite foods as a treat once in a while!. Don't give up, but you can try the following:

Soy Ice Cream, Weight Watchers Pizza, and other healthier choices!.
If you try those things, you can eat your favorite food while sticking to your diet!.
