Vegetarian and a Model?Help?!
You see I have some friends and we do modeling together but I'm a lot fatter then them!. So I'm thinking about becomg a vegetarian and I will but I love meat!. How do I become a vegetarian!? I will also need some recipes!.I'm only a kid though so make it something that's not harmful to my body!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

why not just cut down on meat!? watch your fats and oil intake, eat lots of different veggies and fruits, drink lots of water!.

A lot of models and celebrities attempt veganism for the sole reason of losing weight!. Since becoming vegan, I am now sitting at 113 lbs!. myself- but I'm 5'3 and that is by no means what a lot of models consider thin at that height!.
In some cases, a vegan or vegetarian diet will make you lose weight!. Some times, it won't!. Eating less meat should help!.
Eating lots of vegetables, grains, fruits and whole foods are best!. Cook for yourself so you know there aren't a lot of hidden calories!. Use vegetable substitutes for things like butter (I use Smart Balance Light- it's vegan)!. If you still consume meat- you should probably only be consuming 4oz a day while eating veggies, fruits, whole grains!. also, alcohol and soda are terrible if you're wanting to lose weight so try drinking more water!.
Your stomach secretes a hormone called grehlin which tells your brain you are hungry!. If you eat 6-12 walnuts or almonds when you feel hungry it may curb your appetite as they have been shown to tell that part of your brain you are no longer hungry!. A banana uses a different chemical which has the same affect in the hypothallamus (grrr I may be confusing the banana chemical with the nut one- toooo many health articles read this week- sorry)!.

If you are only becomming vegiterian to lose weight, dont!. I am veg!. and you still have to replace you protien!. You can drink milk, eat eggs and other dairy products!. These sometimes have quite a bit of fat though!. It is possible to lose weight though!. Like getting protien from skim milk!.

Bag of Lipton Cheddar and Broccoli Rice
Frozen Broccoli
Skim Milk
Velvetta Cheese
Make the rice the way the bag says (I used the microwave)!. Make a little bit of broccoli (microwave again)!. Mix the Broccolli in the rice to see if you need more cheese!. If you do put a small amount of Velvetta in a bowl and microve on POWER 5!. Add a little bit of skim milk and microwave for 10 mor seconds!. Mix into rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

im thirteen and in the best shape of my life! im not stick thin, but i feel so much better!. it will not harm you!. im a vegitarian because of the animals, but that is another reason why a lot of people stop eating meat!. i would recomend it!. you will be sosuprised at how easy it really is!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
You won't necessarily lose weight by becoming a vegetarian!. Your weight is dependent on all the kilojoules you take in, not just the ones from meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The healthiest diet you can have should include meat!. That is the only way to keep your body healthy!. Just recognise that you are beautiful regardless of your weight!. Don't become a weedy, weak and pale stick insect!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
