Paneer: home-made typically does not look like the store-bought kind, but is easy to make!. simply bring whole milk to a boil and add a few drops of vinegar or lemon juice!. the milk will start curdling/tearing and you will see lumps of paneer separate from the liquid!. hang this in fine muslin for about 30-mins or so until all the water has drained out!.
a good substitute for paneer is ricotta cheese!. easier to find and not as messy as making your own paneer!Www@FoodAQ@Com
