Question: How to obtain taurine and argnine in a vegan diet!?
What are some foods that are 100% vegan that give you a good source of taurine and argnine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Arginine is an essential amino acid!. It is found in potatoes, carrots, radishes & alfalfa, but there is a number of vegan sources!.

If you have a variety of proteins in your diet, you won't have a problem!. Eat beans, nuts, tofu, tempeh and seeds!. Soya products (such as soya milk) contain ALL 8 essential amino acids, making it the few perfect plant protein sources!.

As for taurine, I'm not sure!. If you are concerned you can take a vegan supplement, but I know vegans who have been on a vegan diet for a long time who are very very healthy and they don't take taurine supplements!.

Vegan Sources of Protein-
The foods which commonly supply the most protein in a vegan diet are pulses (peas, beans, lentils, soya products), grains (wheat, oats, rice, barley, buckwheat, millet, pasta, bread), nuts (brazils, hazels, almonds, cashews) and seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Taurine is produced by your own body but Brewers yeast is a good source for those who have conditions that may benefit from more taurine!.

Arginine is also made by your body but vegan sources include wheat germ and flour, buckwheat, granola, oatmeal, nuts (coconut, pecans, cashews, walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts, peanuts), seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower), chick peas, cooked soybeans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

as long as you regularly eat a wide variety of vegetable sources you are good!.
potatoes, carrrots, sweet potatoes, beans, corn, each of these provide nutrients which should provide with these nutrients you need
i would ask a doctor or vegan expert though!.
