Question: What is "mesculin" (the salad) made of!?
is it a type of leafy vegetable, or is it a style of salad!.!.!. I'm confused, anyone know the answer to this!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Mesclun is just a mix of young salad leaves!. It might include spinach, arugula, lettuce, dandelion greens, raddichio, etc!.

It is normally young "salad" leaves!. similar to baby carrots or corn but of salad vegetables!. I think that's why a lot of people assume it's a type of lettuce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's mesclun and it's a species of lettuce, very expensive because it has to be harvested by hand with razor blades!.
