Question: I'm going vegan, but, need YOUR help!!?
I'm going vegan tomorrow! I'm so excited! I've been a vegetarian for six months and now I'm going vegan!.!.!.forever! Any tips, yummy dishes, warnings!. Anything really! I need all the support I can get so even if you write for answer, I support you, that will be more than enough!. By the way, I'm only following the vegan diet, but I don't think I'll be ready to stop wearing certain things that are made out of animals just yet!. I mean I'm only thirteen! It's not not excuse, but I'm just not ready for that level yet!. Am I still able to call myself vegan or what!?

Don't worry about protein - you can consume enough on a vegan diet, and the average omnivorous American consumes way too much anyway!. Tofu, tempeh, beans, nuts and nut butters, and even whole grains all contribute to your protein count!. I have run two full marathons while vegetarian, and there are plenty of vegans who are athletes!. You do need to be concerned with with eating a balanced diet, but in general you will consume a lot of vitamins and minerals if you are eating the recommended number of fruits and vegetables, something vegans and vegetarians have an easier time doing!. Fortified soymilk is a great way to get your calcium, as is soy yogurt and other calcium enriched products!. While being vegan is not something to enter into lightly, with proper planning and some basic nutrition knowledge, you should be good to go!. Congrats on your decision!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's a great decision to be a vegetarian, but if you're 13 I don't think you should be a vegan because you are still growing and need calcuim!. If you have all of that worked out, then good luck! I think that you should stop wearing animal-made clothes because if you don't eat them, why should you wear them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is so unhealthy!. I wish you understood how the body works!. You are NEVER EVER going to get the correct amounts of foods in the correct proportions doing this to yourself!. You won't get the necessary proteins for your body to function!. I hope you don't get sick and i urge you to read some books on how the body works, especially what makes up proteins (amino acids) and how they work in your body!. Every body function depends on them and you won't get the right ones or the correct amount from a vegan diet!. Good luck!. hope you never aspired to be in shape or have any muscle thoughWww@FoodAQ@Com
