Answers:
Actually many commercial yogurts do contain gelatin and your concern is justified!. Stonyfield and Brown Cow are two such products found in the Supermarkets now!. also, ethnic yogurts like Zadan and others are pure and free of such adulteration!. Most organic products do not use gelatin either!. Reading labels is aways a good idea as recipes change from time to time when companies come under different leadership or have a change in direction!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Amber is not quite correct - but it depends where you are!. When I lived in Australia I was amazed to find out that the yoghurt often contained gelatine!. I have never seen this in England!. I would imagine that you will find it in cheaper brands if you are in the US, as cheap food production in the US puts all kinds of dodgy things in food!.

Organic brands will never do it, nor soya yoghurts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

In the UK, yes!. Activa is one!. Some supermarkets such as Sainsburys have some yogurt ranges without pork geletin in them!. Thier Summer fruits and winter Fruits 4-packs are veggie!.

How about Soya, i know they are not dairy but Alpro are ok!.

why is it that the people who give really obviously wrong answers never have thier email enabled !? Do you think they are against learning something !?Www@FoodAQ@Com

What country are you in!? Here in Australia, Soygurt is my favourite brand - it's completely vegan (no gelatine) and is widely available in supermarkets!. It's delicious too!Www@FoodAQ@Com
