I make rice noodles with peanut sauce and tofu in a wok!. It's easy to get the sauce on everything fast in a wok - rice noodles become gluey and gross if you overcook them so you have to work quickly!.
I've also made potato dumplings (gnocchi) by boiling them in a pot and then transferring them into a wok to coat them in a mushroom and onion sauce!.
I use a wok to cook down leafy greens too!. I add some vegetable broth and scoop a few heaping handfuls of spinach, collard greens and kale in and sprinkle in seasonings and then cover it and it cooks down to a fraction of the size!. It's easy to pile it on top of a veggie burger or stir it into something else, and I can get the equivalent of a big bowl of greens in just a few spoonfuls!.
I've made "dirty rice" in a wok too!. I had pre-cooked brown rice (I usually make some rice and keep it in a plastic container in the fridge for 2-3 days since I find a way to put it in everything)!. I tossed the rice in, added black beans and red kidney beans, spices and seasonings, onion and garlic, some veggies and then I sauteed it in the wok!.
And of course, stir-fry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
