Answers:
You shouldn't eat anything if there is no available list of ingredients!. If you eat something knowing it might have animal products and you just don't read the label you can't be a vegan!.

A slip up once in a while is normal, but only in the beginning!.

Ignorance of ingredients is no excuse!.

If you do try your best not to eat animal products you are a vegan!. Your question is confusing though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For vegans, being ignorant of what's in your food doesn't excuse the consumption of animal ingredients!. Among other things, veganism is about awareness and accountability!.

Furthermore, veganism extends beyond diet (not some of the time, but ALL of the time)!. Vegans abstain from animal products/ingredients in ALL foods, ALL clothing, ALL personal care products etc!.

If you were vegan, you would know!. You're don't!. You're not!.

You're vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't know it's in things then you'd probably have to say vegetarian because a genuine vegan would check, obviously because they are concerned that they are not inadvertently eating any form of animal products or by-products, but to be fair a vegetarian would check anything they weren't sure of either!. I assume you are not checking and are therefore despite not eating eggs and milk are not really interested in vegan principles, so I think it's only fair that you call yourself a vegetarian- being vegan takes a lot of commitment for this very reason!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans don't eat anything that is or was alive, or came from something that is or was alive!. If the milk or eggs are in the cake the vegan won't eat it!. Most vegans while professing to be vegans aren't that strict and will eat cake made with milk and eggs anyway!. You be your own judge!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you also don't eat any honey, don't wear/buy/use leather, fur, wool, and sheepskin, and don't buy/use products tested on animals, you are a vegan!. If you do any of those, you are a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are not reading labels you are not living a Vegan lifstyle!. If you are eating milk and eggs in bakery products for example you could call yourself a lacto-ove vegetarian!. As a Lacto Vegetarian I would urge you to read labels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i'm pretty sure you're considered a vegan!.

i'm a vegetarian myself :]

i tried to be vegan but i didn't have the resources, so i commend you for being one!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well vegans eat no animal bi-products!. That includes all dairy gelatin etc!.!.!. It sounds like you are probably a vegetarian as vegans tend to be very strict about what they eat, and make sure it is animal free!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegan would make sure they knew whether or not there was milk or eggs in something and would avoid it if they couldn't be sure!. I'd call you a vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you are considered a vegan but then again not really if you drink milk at all but you are considered a veganWww@FoodAQ@Com

vegan!.
but if you chose the vegan lifestyle their is a lot more involved then just your food choices!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you are veganWww@FoodAQ@Com
