Question: Verry pickie eater how can i help this!?
I am 15 have never eaten meat i wouldnt eat it as a baby but thats not my problem!. My problem is i eat like only a few things
1!. peas
2!.corn
3!. white rice
4!.safron rice
5!. fries
6!. uncle bens wild rice
7!. mashed patatoes
thats about it
it makes me sick to eat any thing else and i really want to change and my mother once tried to make me eat other foods and she fed me other things and for a few days but i eat it and it comes back up and this is not on purpose
i dont know what to do I want to be healthy but i just cant for some reasonWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well all of us are picky eaters in some ways, just more than others!. I suggest seeing someone who specializes in the health department!. Then see what they have to say!.

But i think that everything you eat is carbs and veggies!. Not saying those are horrible but you will need protein eventually and some other food groups!.

um, i had this problem a while back!. The only thing I would eat was fruit and yogurt!. I'm going to be honest with you, the only thing you can do is force yourself to eat somethings, it won't be fun but you need meat and you need other foods, It has important minerals and vitamins and stuff!. you can develope a liking for other foods if you "fake it 'till you make it"

I'd start off just trying to eat lots of other bland foods!. Below I've linked to an article talking about a bland diet!.

I'd eat some of the stuff you'd normally have and maybe a tiny bit of something else!. Maybe you could work up to having a bit of other foods!.

You're not going to be able to thrive on simple carbohydrates forver, so my suggestion to you is to introduce a new fruit, vegetable, or bean every week and eat a half-cup serving of it every day!.

It sounds like an eating disorder to me!. Eating only those things must have you extremely unhealthy!. So if this isn't trolling you had better see a doctor!. I think it is trolling though because if that is really all you have eaten all your life I think you would be dead!.

You definitely need to add more variety to your diet!. I'd start off slow, adding a few simple things!. Maybe you can mash fruit up into a puree or make a smoothie!.

I was reared in poverty in Belfast in the 1940s!. Believe me if you are hungry enough you will eat any type of food and thank the Lord for its provision!. All these food allergies and eating disorders are a product of the affluent society!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

is good to be picky specially on what you eat , try and explore healthy alternative food, this way you get the nutrition and vitamins you need wile maintain healthy body!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

talk to your doc!.!.!.!.!.but most of these things are mind over matter!. i used to be an extremely picky eater too!.!.!.!.the only vegetables i would eat were corn and potatoes!. i didn't eat a salad until i was about 17!. any time i tried to eat veggies i would gag and think i was going to throw up!. when i went vegetarian i HAD to get over that and made myself try all kinds of things!. when i had the willpower to eat it and know that it was saving animals' lives to not eat meat, i was miraculously able to keep it down, lol!. i used to throw up when i ate peas and now i eat them like crazy!!
it may be as simple as finding the right motivation!.!.!.!.!.and try not to think about it before you eat it!. the more you think about how much you hate it the more you psych yourself out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
