Put all into a food processor and give it a whirl for spicy, restaurant-style salsa!. My own recipe:

1-29 oz!. can of tomato sauce
1/2 medium white onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
3-4 jalapenos (stems removed)
1/2 med!. red bell pepper (no seeds)
1 banana pepper (stem removed)
1 fresh or dried cayenne pepper (stem removed)
3-4 dried chilis de arbol (stems removed or use 1 more cayenne)
1/4-1/2 cup cilantro
pinch of salt (optional--the chips are usually salty enough)
3/4 Tablespoon lemon juice

Takes like 10 minutes to make and you can freeze some and it won't turn watery like salsas tend to when you freeze them!.

Hope you like it if you try it!. :-)

For milder just cut out the cayennes and chilis de arbol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Salsa

I finally came up with a recipe for salsa that satisfies me and that I actually wrote down the ingredients for while I was concocting it!. And it passed the taste test with a whole pint jar disappearing into the young people who attended my daughter's college graduation party with no one asking why it tasted funny, so I guess it's ok to share!. This makes a mild version!. You could add another chili pepper or two depending on how hot you like it!. Hint !.!.!. To peel tomatoes, dip them into boiling water for about 30 seconds!. The skins will come right off!.

3 lb Plum Tomatoes,Peeled And Chopped
1/2 c Black Beans,Cooked
1/2 c Frozen Corn
1 cn No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
1 Chili Pepper
1/4 c Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 c Onion,Chopped
1 t Minced Garlic
1 1/2 t Cilantro
1/2 t Oregano
1 1/2 t Cumin

Combine all ingredients in a large pot!. Simmer until desired thickness, about 15 minutes!. pack into jars and store in refrigerator!. Makes about 3 pints!.

diced tomatos, onion diced or minced, garlic minced, cilantro, lime juice, jalapenos diced, reduced sodium V8 Juice!.

as far as putting this together, obviously tomatos make up the most but experiment this is a versatile recipe, beware of the amount of jalapeno heat, and stay easy on the lime juiceWww@FoodAQ@Com

The salsa isn't the culprit; it's the chips!. Buy "no salt" tortilla chips and don't worry about the salsa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tomatoes
Onion
Garlic
Cilantro
Jalepeno (optional) All above items chopped
Squeeze of a lime
