wow-- so much anger over a tshirt!?! Some people need to stay away from questions that anger them so much!. I made a shirt exactly like you are referring to!. i used a plan white T and bought red tshirt paint!. (make sure it isnt washable and will stay on fabrics) and then i used sponge lettering!. And let some of the words drip, for a blood effect!.
BUT THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: put some sort of backing inside the shirt while you sponge the words-- otherwise it will bleed though the back!. Use cardboard!. mine is stained now, so i should probably make a new one!.
Edit* that is ridiculous that some people would assume you are pushing your beliefs onto other, by wearing a shirt liek this!. It is your torso, wear what you please!. I dont assume that hunters are pushing their beliefs onto me when they wear gear and are not hunting at that time!. And i certainly don't think that Christians are imposing there religion on me, when they wear a cross, or a religious Tshirt!. Dave's argument is ridiculous and senseless!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I was wondering why it as deleted!
Anywho if you can draw you can do some pretty amazing things with meat=murder shirts, but as far as just the words you could write it all on the front or write meat is on the front and then the back could say murder, that would really grab people's attention!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Good one!.
I think you should put "Meat Is Murder" on the front!.
Then on the back, id probably put one of these ideas on:
-A link to a vegan website e!.g (The vegan society)
-A picture of a fish, then a picture of a cow and a chicken and then the phrase "All animals deserve better lives" (id do this because so many people think they're veggies and they eat fish)!.
-"Become a veggie, live longer, feel stronger"
-"Hardcore vegetarians!"
-"Meat sucks!"
-"Veggies rule"
-A cute picture of a lamb, and then a picture of lamb chopped up on a plate (I really think that might get people)!.
-"Totally vegged out!"!.
Hope this helps and good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Although I'm vegan, I really don't agree with these kinds of t shirts!. Having once been a meat eater, I know that this will probably annoy people more than anything!.
I know it has good intentions but generally, people don't like to be accused of being murderers!. I doubt anyone's going to look at this t shirt and think "she's right, what have I been thinking!?"!. They're more likely to think 'Stupid veggies, quit judging me!"
Rather than send out a message condemning others, maybe a more positive message would be a better idea!. I can't think what at the moment but I do remember seeing a bag once saying "Fake for the animals sake"!. I think affirming your beliefs with this kind of message rather than with something negative would work better!. Negative messages will only alienate the veg community from the rest of the world!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why don't you put meat = murder on the front and a picture of the torture on the back!? That's only if you're trying to sway people to take up your views!.
Or a cute animal on the front with the word "Dinner" or even the question "how could you!?" or "where's my mummy" And "meat = murder" on the back!.
Or you could put the word "Meat" on the front and "Murder" on the back in big red chilling writing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm a vegan and I do NOT like your shirt idea unless you have been a vegan all of your life!. If you have eaten meat or dairy products then you have been a murderer too!. If so, you are going to feel pretty small when someone points this out to you in front of a lot of other people!. It's kind of like a person who has been a murderer, and for some reason gets out of prison and wears a shirt saying meat = murder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There's always http://www!.cafepress!.com for things like that!. If you go to where it says "make your own stuff", you can upload your graphic, and then put it on all kinds of things such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, mousepads, greeting cards and so on!. Be sure that your graphic meets their printing specifications, and your results will be fine!.
If you don't want to use your own design, you can do a search for "vegan", and you'll find a "meat=murder" shirt in no time at all, I'm sure!. There are literally thousands and thousands of veg*n designs available, including that one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Meat is Murder is the title of a Smiths album!. I'd come up with something more original!.
As a general rule I think slogans have more impact on the front, and as you're obviously doing it to cause a reaction, you want to see peoples faces as they read it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could put "I'm Not a Nugget" on the front with a picture of a chick, and Meat=Murder on the back!.
Lots of stencils here!.!.!. http://www!.peta2!.com/TAKECHARGE/t-stenci!.!.!.

I agree with Michael, the only thing your going to do with a t-shirt such as this is bring to the attention of everyone that you haven't read a dictionary, there are far less abusive ways of getting the message you wish to put acrossWww@FoodAQ@Com
front and back with a photo ( un humano muerto como matan a los animales, para que entiendan el mensaje, aunque sea un poco fuerte,!. es la mejor forma de llamar la atencion, creo)
upss, I don′t speak english, I hope understand what Im say, bye!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's already available at Threadless and it's PERFECT!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would put it across the back and a smaller logo top left on the front!.

ok how do u define murder!?!?!? killing something and taking away its life isnt it!? are u not murdering trees and plants to eat them or make tshirts or other products !?!?!?!? murder is a murder!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
why would you line yourself up to be ridiculed !?
Do you actually think that walking around in a t-shirt like that will teach people about vegetarianism or veganism !?
All it will do is prove you do not know the definition of "murder"!.
I'm pretty sure you'll be back on here in a few weeks saying "why do people criticise me for being a vegetarian !?"
Wouldn't it be so much better to put your £20 and time into a different approach to show the vegetarian role model as a postive way forward !?
We had someone turn up at a national veggie awards dinner wearing one of those PETA "meat is murder" t-shirts!.- he got a lot of stick i can tell you!.!.!.!.from veggies!. Mind you, it was a black tie affair!.
It you put the logo on the back the half-eaten burgers are less likely to hit your face, that would be best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure of what your question is!? Maybe put a cute little animal on the front and the slogan on the back!.
The reason that this topic creates a lot of tension is because if a person takes a stand on a certain issue, they have to be sure that they are not being a hypocrite!. For instance, to say meat is murder but then use products like Tylenol, Excedrine, makeup and feminine hygiene products which have been tested on animals is just as bad!. I use some of those products, and try to only buy the ones which are free of animal testing, but so many makeup companies are not truthful about details!. They may not test animals, but they buy chemicals which have been tested on animals and add them to their products!. Then they claim no animals were harmed in THEIR process!. This is why even though I do not eat meat, I do not preach to other people!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you wear leather shoes!? Which animal skin are they made from!?

In your message to 'medium dave' (who appears to have vanished now), you write the letters, 'wtf'!. I take it that's chat jargon !.!.!.could you tell me what it means!?
I wish to add that although I'm not a vegetarian, I do have friends and family who are!.
They never make a thing about what I eat, as I in turn respect the fact that they don't eat meat (inc!. dairy products) and don't use anything made from animals!.
When they come to visit I prepare vegetarian meals which we ALL enjoy, and believe me, I know for certain that they wouldn't try to insult me with, 'meat = murder' printed on their t-shirts!.
I always understood that the term, murder, applies to human beings who kill other human beings - slaughter, being the term used for the killing of animals!.
Your immature attitude to others here gives me the impression that you've not been vegetarian for very long, and still very excited about the fact you've changed your diet!.
May I add, you also asked someone why they're posting in 'vegetarian and vegan' if they don't agree with it!.
Personally, although I eat meat, I find the subject interesting and perhaps might also even decide to change my diet some day, so in case you might ask, that's MY reason for coming in here!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
