Question: I love bread, but I know it's not good for my health!. Is there a good flour for homemade WHITE bread!?
I know some natural food stores carry natural flour, I wonder if I can buy that kind and eat better when I eat bread!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

first bread is not a major heath risk- it has been part of historic diets becuse it is a good source of carbohidrates which are needed for energy!. Just worry about your calorie in take and keep your diet balanced!.
Don't forget historical bread fruit and vegtibles are the core of the human diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

White bread is not good for you!. To make white flour they take whole grain flour and strip away most the wheat protein and fiber to sell as cattle feed!. Learn to like whole grain breads, your body will thank you for it as you age!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unbleached flour is fine but you can add some bran,seeds or grains to it to make it healthier!. Look in your bread recipes for the amount!. White bread is ok,though!.!.!.it's what you put on top that makes it healthy or not!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try all purpose flour or use 1/2 all purpose with 1/2 whole wheat!. Food is meant to be enjoyed so if you are looking to be healthier but love white bread, just eat it in moderation and up your intake of other fibre-rich foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

An unbleached white flour works well!. I used to use Stone-Burr brand, but don't know if it's still available!. Even Pillsbury or Gold Medal should offer unbleached white!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
